He did that plenty last season. I just don't think he has it in his legs as much this season. I'm pretty sure he's among the top 1 or 2 most high intensity sprints too in our team, which is more alarming when he played non stop for 2-3 years.
He’s definitely playing too much in s very demanding role, but we don’t have anyone to rotate hin with. Loaning out Antony seems even more stupid now. He may never be word class, but he could have been a handy squad player both at wingback and at 10.

Whatever about his decision making, he's a hell of an athlete. We've been running him into the ground over the last few seasons.

Can't wait until he's binned off. He's an awful fullback. His attempts to defend their 2nd and 3rd goals was horrendous.

Great goal. Immense pass to Bruno for the crossbar shot. Trent like.

He's got to be our RWB going forward. Offers us so much in possession.

So so much better on the right than the left. Not sure he’s our future first choice but he’s definitely a squad option.

Very well taken goal, it was a sublime finish off the post. Could’ve got an assist as well

This lad has had a huge amount of abuse for not being very good at LWB. He was really good last year at RB and LB when required.

Now he's back on the right side he's been much better. Making constant improvements to his game in a new WB position.

His attitude is first class. I would absolutely keep him, even if we get someone else in to compete for that position.

He's played so much, I'm sure fatigue plays a big part in why we see him making silly decisions so regularly - he's always had them in him, but this season has taken it to a new level.

There's a decent footballer there, but he doesn't really excel at anything, except staying fit (which, in fairness, is something a lot of our squad is rubbish at).
Pretty much my thoughts. All his issues are psychological. We badly need a backup so we can rest him more which in turn should see better performances from him.

Hes professional, physical and likeable. But he's a level down on quality and that's the big problem.

Another RWB should be added to the squad, to compete / spell with Dalot. The emotion he showed at the final whistle shows his heart beats for United and he has an engine few can match. Is he brilliant? Patently not but he is a decent player who gives his all and importantly, is always available. I would not be in any hurry to ship him out when the likes of Shaw, Martinez & a few others I could mention are barely available and arguably, not an improvement on Dalot's standard. If you sell him, you need to bring in a pair of RWBs which given the more pressing needs of the first team squad, is not likely nor is it a priority.

With Martinez, Shaw and a few others I could mention struggling to stay fit, it is always a good option to have a healthy hardworking player like Dalot available.

For all the 'not a wingback as he doesn't provide enough to the attack' that people (including myself) have said, he's actually had 6 goals or assists in the last 16 games and could easily have another 4 or 5 assists from some great passes or crosses he's put in. Basically since he's moved to the right. If he can keep that up over the season then he can be a lot more useful to us than I originally thought in this system, even if just as a squad player.

Was one of our better players in the first half against Lyon, but obviously dropped off as the game wore on and was definitely poor for the 3rd (I think?) goal. As others have said I would like to see him given the occasional rest to see if that would help him stay at his top level more consistently.

He's contribution in attack has been big lately - that assist vs Newcastle and then goal last night. Defensively there are questions no doubt.

Man Utd 0:1 Wolves New
How can a player be so bad , still to this day I don’t understand . Dalot play every game when he offers literally nothing . Not a defender not a wingback not a midfielder no idea what he’s .

We lost quite a bit when Dorgu came off and he came on. I think in a 5 minute period, he conceded possession or had a bad cross 5 times.

He's an awful player.

Been saying it for years.

I don't think I could cope with another season of Dalot

I don't get the Dalot hate. He's pretty good player. Not exactly peak Cafu, but also not bad enough to be constantly berated because the team (and its #9) aren't scoring goals and winning games.

I dont hate him - I enjoy having a player in the squad who is always fit - but him and Dorgu give me a lot of the same. Good, solid players - but probably not good enough to get us a lot closer to where we should be

For me he just doesn't have the attacking output to play at wing back.

Off topic but people are going to be so disappointed next season when they see Dalot starting. He’s A bit like Mount in the sense that managers like him a lot more than fans.

That definitely was true up until recently, but there are signs he's starting to improve over the last couple of months (basically since moving back to the right). He's had 6 goals or assists in his last 16 starts, and could easily have had another 4 or 5 assists as he's put some great balls in that the attackers have messed up. In fact his crossing in general has looked much better over the last month or two, as he's getting most of them in to a fairly good position instead of massively overhitting them like he used to.

If (and it's a fairly big 'if') he can maintain that then he becomes a very good option in the squad, even if not necessarily first choice.

Not ideal, as he has been getting better at WB lately, but at least he gets some rest. His availability so far in his United career has been really impressive, and a bit detrimental to his performances one could argue.

Very rare for him to get injured. Not his biggest fan but do think he’d been better recently so timing is unfortunate.

One of the ever-presents so this was bound to happen eventually.

That might be a big blow for Bilbao. Dorgu and Amass will basically have to play every single minute of the next matches, unless Shaw gets the PL games at WB

As brainless as he can be, he’s a big miss for us.

He can do a job at both ends of the pitch and has a great engine. We also don’t have anyone better to play in the position.

It’s a shame Amad isn’t ready yet as I’d quite like to see him as the RWB again.

I don't think there's any way on this earth we will ask Luke Shaw to play wing back. More likely is Mazraoui right wing back to play 3 from Maguire / Yoro / Lindelof / Shaw / Fredrickson and hopefully soon MDL at centre half. Thought hopefully Amad is back soon

I mean - how? That's really shit for Europa. He's made big contributions on our route to the semis.
