It's a shame because he's basically stagnated he still plays as a 20-21 year old. Good speed, good technique, good physicality but braindead. It's like he has learned nothing in all this years playing in top league. He hasn't developed at all. He's 26 now he won't improve what were seeing it's his level and it's simply not good enough neither in defense nor in attack.

To be fair I would say he has improved. I remember seeing his debut and thought he would never get another game he was that bad. Was like they picked someone from the crowd, who was also attending their first ever football game. So not only was there no evidence of footballing ability, but he also seemed to have no idea what a full back is supposed to do positionally.

It was such a low bar that it couldn't get any worse. Mindboggling he's lasted so long, and depressing he's now one of the 'leadership' crew.

Hopefully once Amorim is out the door the next manager won't have a soft spot for dogshit defenders.

Can someone find a clip of the first 20 seconds of the game v Brentford. Dalot gets outmuscled and allows Brentford to start an attack when we had possession. It set the tone for the whole game

the most low IQ player I've ever seen play for us. I mean this is an old clip but I feel like you can find a brain fart moment like this in almost every game he plays.

Great example of how a player can get by due to physicality alone. He pretty much has nothing else to his game but because he is physically imposing, he’s somehow failed his way to a pretty long career at United. Can’t wait till we finally get a manager who values quality on the ball and doesn’t entertain such mediocrity.

He hasn't improved because he's just not good enough and never was, it's that simple.

It's clear we not only need at least 1 more central mid, but we need new wings for both sides. I'm confident in Amad but there's no depth behind him...and Dorgu just isn't very good either. Dalot should be sold in January.

Where are all his backers now? I had a bit of an argument with some who claimed he was good and one of the best player in recent years

Inappropriate Behavior

Many of his fanboys were hailing him as a successful signing and saying I was being too harsh on a player who wasn’t signed for the first team. Terrible signing who shouldn’t have had his contract extended and only reason he wasn’t sold to Milan was because they were cheap bastards.

i stand by my statement that anybody that watches Dalot play for 2 consecutive game and still thinks he’s a good player is either blind or watching the wrong team.

Great athlete and a physical specimen. Terrible excuse of a footballer.

This.

Like many players, he's being used horribly and his confidence is on the floor. He's a fullback. Not a special player, but a good fullback IMO. 4231 where he competes with Mazraoui for the position isn't a problem for me at all.

As a wing back, yeah he's lost, especially in a system where everybody is lost.

Man Utd 2:0 Sunderland
Well... He can throw the ball long so there's that

He almost fell over each and every ball at his feet today. Our LWB options make me want to cry

We'll be a better team once he's gone.

Capable of good moments but often switches completely off during the game which is mind boggling!

He's rubbish isn't he. Such a dim player and not a good enough footballer otherwise to make up for it.

Please let him go in the summer, he’s just terrible. Offers nothing going forward and is getting worse each season definitely.

Dorgu isn’t much better but at least he’s new!

Don't trust Dalot one bit with the ball. He'll always make the wrong decision.

Had plenty of chances to make something happen but he didnt do any. Whenever we pass to him and hes high up i know its either gonna be a goal kick or a back pass. Never a goal.

Dorgu is miles better, he's physically able to match and beat players, whereas Dalot is almost always overmatched.

Dalot stifles us going forward, makes us vulnerable at the back, and is liable to lose the ball at any moment under no pressure. He's nowhere near good enough, I actually think he's one of the weakest links we have in the team.

He shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting eleven. Very poor again today

Gosh, he's awful and he makes brain dead decisions every match. His poor decision making almost led to Traore scoring in the first half.

He’s a calamity, that mis pass he played today was just Dalot all over.

He has regressed and is just plain bad now. Maybe Mourinho can have him at Benfica in the summer as he loves him so much and we can find a much better replacement for him.

Yeah... him with his left foot is pretty brutal. Dorgu's not much of a crosser, but I think I'd rather him than Dalot.

Already been said but it needs saying again, how this absolute waste of skin has managed to amass so many appearances for us just boggles the mind, one of the worst players ever to play for us, or maybe I know sod all about football ?

Rubbish today, he has moments where he is quite decent but today he was pretty bad.

It's staggering that it's 25/26 and he's still starting games for us. Ole could see the obvious (that he's terrible) years ago and replaced him with Wan Bissaka.

He was bordering on woeful today.

A decent striker would have scored that chance after 4 mins and looking at it a 2nd time I think VAR would have found the Sunderland player was onside. But the ball watching by him for it was Sunday league behaviour.
He didn’t fare much better as the game wore on.

Need to get rid and get a massive upgrade on him.

It is amazing how one moment could easily have turned things in an entirely different direction. They score there and you know the nerves would've got to us

Its ridiculous he's still here starting games for us.

The amount of times he seems to just lose concentration during a match is incredible.
