Lwb should be upgraded but he is a decent backup option: rarely injured, can play both sides, doesn't complain, wages are normal. If an offer north of 35 million doesn't come, I don't see the point selling him.

Can play poorly on both sides. We should be setting our sights far higher than “doesn’t complain and stays fit”. Surely there are some players out there who can manage both of those things whilst also having some basic level of football IQ and not kicking the ball to the opposition constantly. I'm not sure what happened with the goal. He and Shaw seemed to swap around, and when then Shaw was returning to position there was absolutely no one there to try and defend the cross. Reminded me of one of the goals we conceded against Chelsea.
