He’s one of the leftovers duds we need to get shot of.

Him starting over Amad is crazy to me. Dalot with a typical Dalot performance in my eyes - not crazy bad, nothing really positive to mention.

Well defensively he’s better than Amad but I think everyone including Amorim misjudged Arsenal, so negating their wingers was actually not that big of a deal as they didn’t show up. The whole Arsenal attack was dealt with comfortably for the most part surprisingly.

I think how the game went played a part in that. Arsenal had a difficult away game, were at front (even though luckily) and knew giving us the ball usually doesn't cause too much of a headache. That being said, I agree, our defenders looked quite well today, making good and decisive challenges on a couple of occasions. I just felt, that Arsenal could have upped another gear if it had been necessary, there were a couple minutes in the 2nd half where they were playing ball around us with us not looking as if we had a way to take it away.

The whole Amad - Dalot situation is quite bad in my eyes. Because we are losing so much when Amad isn't on the pitch. The WB position is emphasizing how limited Dalot is in attack.

He’s a solid fullback but a terrible wingback
I think he's mediocre at best. His national team manager preferred a midfielder and a 31-year-old Semedo to him in the last internationals. United should've better standards.

Not sure what people's problem is with his performance today. We didn't have any box presence for him to cross to

Did the job that was asked of him and got swapped out for a more attacking option when we needed one. People going in with two feet on him after that are just agenda merchants with an axe to grind.

Preferred to a popular young player and he is one of the players were judgement has been pre delivered due to historic frustration.

Both spot on

Indeed

He was the safe option today and it would have been justified had Bayandir not palmed it into our net. The game plan made total sense for me today, shame it didn't pan out that way.

He was ok but clearly he’s not comfortable in the WB role. Might do better against easier opposition and I doubt we will play a more resolute defence than Arsenal today.

I think you’re bang on about everyone misjudging Arsenal. In hindsight Dalot wasn’t needed and Amad should’ve been on from the start, but playing him was absolutely the right call today as their wide players ought to have done better and made life hard for our WBs

Agree. He was fine and I'm not sure Amad (who I love) was much of an upgrade today.

Amad has done just fine at RWB defensively. If Amorim did his research he'd have found that our last few home matches against Arsenal have been similar. They are usually pragmatic against us at OT even when they're riding a high in the league. They've now beaten us three times since 2020 in the league at OT by the same score line and with subdued performances

I genuinely don’t understand how he has survived so long at this club. Just cause he is always available doesn’t mean he needs to play. Absolutely useless going forward or defensively.

The problem was he got forward well, but is the type of player who needs others to create. Typified by him getting into a great spot, looking up to see nobody in the box, then putting in a crap cross anyways to literally nobody. Different player sees that, holds the ball, and tries to create on his own while players catch up.

Agreed. I think we all expected them to come out super aggressive and try and dictate everything and what we got was essentially Homer Simpson's boxing style.

Fulham 1:1 Man Utd
Why would you even try that? Braindead footballer.

Cost us the 3 points, really.

Senior pro who makes decisions you wouldn’t see at youth level. Liability in defence. Needs to be binned off.

He just shit. What he’s doing for their equaliser is beyond me

I’d rather Rico fecking Lewis. And Rico is a bag of shit

He often gives the impression he thinks he is better than he actually is. He likes to take shots from distance (didnt do it today) and will just miss them. Today he does some technical player turn, loses the ball and we concede.

Just play your role. A limited right back who is quite fast. Just run up and down. Dont try anything special.

He’s a leader apparently.

One of the dumbest players to put on a United shirt. All he is good at is high-fiving players.

The guys woeful and why does he always take an hour to take a throw in when we are chasing a game?

One of the worst players at the club. I am shocked how we keep pursuing with him.

Just amazing that he's still at the club. Is there anything he is good at? I can't think of it. I feel twice as strong about him being shite as GB did Lindelof.

He's fast and strong. Unfortunately he's very average in every other category.

I don't mind him as a backup for this season. Ideally we will replace him next summer.
