What's the benefit to Man Utd for loaning him out. He only comes back next season back into the team or he really shines and the club wants him?
He could impress another club while out on loan and United get a bit more for him

Seemed an ok player, but was never quick enough to be a fullback for us. Hope he does well and the loan gets him a new club and us a fee next season.

A loan move for him in a lesser league could be a smart way of drumming up some more interest next summer. I can't see him making it here.

Just because you are 21, it doesn't make you have potential automatically. Dalot will never be good enough for United, that's why Ole is trying to sell him.
thats a bit harsh. Hes got talent. He needs game time. He needs a loan.

There was a time we used to loan out players all the time under fergie for players to gain confidence and make their way into the first team.

Doesnt happen much anymore.

Loans are now used to get balance the payroll to something more reasonable. Its completely screwed.

Injuries clearly haven’t helped so it’s this simple: go on loan for a season, stay fit and play every week, show you’re good enough to come back and contribute to United.
