lets be honest scum always resort to career threatening tackles. i just hope tristan what hes in for next week dirty bastard.

it gives chadwick a good chance and quintin was rather impressive. touchwood no injuries on the weekend.

In all fairness, Keano's done a few X-rated tackles himself. It was a vicious and unnecessary challenge - but probably born out of frustration. I don't think Tristan is a dirty player in general.

BTW, welcome to the CAF digger!

Definitely a bad tackle; game's almost over, the ball was in the United end with no chance of Tristan gaining possesion or even getting it from a throw after a deflection and he went in with both feet. The ref bottled it imo and no doubt UEFA will have words with him.

That was one of the worst reffing performances I've seen in a while tbh, he missed a blatant pen and was very inconsistant (booked Nicky for HB but didn't book their guy). His control of the game was inept to say the least, he twice stopped open play just to say 'calm down' to both teams, when it wasn't necessary.

Anyway, at least we won and got a 2 goal margin to protect at OT. I doubt he'll be in charge for the return leg and for those who've been begging for Tristan's blood at OT, bad Idea coz the ref will be watching for any 'retribution' type tackles.

Our boys will be professional about it and get on with getting to the semi's hopefully.

yeah..our boys will be professional about it rite till late into injury time when we sub yorke into the game so he could end his frustrations on tristan :D

Dirty Tackle! The way he pushed Beckham away after F@#king up his ankle (foot) is just Dirty. This guy Tristan is SCUM. If only everyone had tomatos in Old Trafford, aimed for Tristan, at the 2nd leg. I'd be there.

Deep inside, I would've liked to see one of our boys give Tristan a slap yesterday. But the reactions after the tackle was very professional and calm. I bet some of the players wanted to tw@at him, but at this stage, you don't want any cards/suspensions because of some unnecessary fisticuffs in injury time...

Nicky Butt had a 'verbal' go at him ... It wasn't mentioned on US TV but I saw Nicky say summink then Tristan signed to him (by putting his finger over his lips) to shut up! Of course, Tommy 'onion bag' Smythe thought Tristan was suggesting that Bex dived  , 'kin idiot he is.

Also saw butt having a word with him, i think diego realised what he had done, and tried to make out it was not as bad has it appeared.

I posted this in another thread...more relevant to this one....

I remember watching their game against the arse a few weeks ago and tristian put in some late challenges as well. I remember thinking at the time that he was a dirty cnut. so I think it's fair to say that he was going in to do Becks, in fact no doubt about it...there was no mis timing...it was very much intentional....

Synical fecking twats! They don't know how to lose gracefully. We lost against them twice in phase one but were professional and accepted defeat.

I hope he gets his cumuponce (spelling) in the return leg. TWAT!

Chadwick is out till the end of the season after a hernia operation. No one seems to know that. It's been extreemly low-profile.
