Do you expect more transfer activity than normal in the 2023 Winter Transfer Window?

Just thinking - because of the world cup a lot of players may not have moved as it may have harmed their selection chances. The compressed season and the world cup will return players with some long term injuries - so will clubs be more active this winter than normal?

Will some clubs be more receptive to selling in the winter or even more protective of their assets?

I can’t imagine many teams signing exhausted players that their medical staff have never seen.

I’d expect very little activity, with Newcastle spending a fortune.
