Does anyone else think Sánchez is like (peak) Rooney?

Productive over the course of the season but very inconsistent within it. Equally likely to produce a sublime touch as he is to produce an unbelievably clumsy one. Creates and finishes lots of chances but breaks up the build-up play over and over again in doing so. Capable of playing in any attacking position but not at home in any. Works his balls off so he's deemed to be always "making an impact" while his deficiencies are totally overlooked by many.

The way he was described when signed was someone we could always rely upon to make a difference, unlike someone like Hazard who only turns up when he wants. I just don't see that in Sánchez and I don't really understand why his inconsistency is overlooked.
We did not need him here. The right hand side should have been addressed before the left hand side. Mahrez would have been the better choice as we had Rashford and Martial competing for the left. Now they are unhappy.
