Game of briefs.

The player who briefed against Maguire forgot that Maguire has his own PR pals to help him out

The negativity around Maguire has (rightly) been so much this season that I can't even remember this brief. What was it about and who is the alleged culprit?

Nothing new.
Nothing that can't be solved by getting rid of the lot of them.
They can sour up other dressing rooms

What in your mind thinks that this is to help Maguire for fecks sake. This forum loves to throw around the “briefs” and “PR” talk.

But the second there’s any bad press BOOM theCAF erupts & they believe every word.

It’s getting tiresome the very second an article is put out - the CAF shouts…..BRIEF! IT MUST BE A BRIEF!

Then spend 10+ pages debating on who the culprit is. Jesus christ lads.

I am waiting for the moaning about the traveling in the European Conference League, facilities not the best, pitches not the best. Well lads you should have finished higher in the league then.

Briefs FC.

At least what Keane did in 05' was an upfront criticism, although it didn't sit well with SAF, Keane was at least upfront about it, didn't sneak a message to the members of the media.

They need to be tought discipline and respect and loyalty to the teammates.

Here we go again!

Not EVERYTHING is a fecking brief!

For a start it’s basically an opinion piece and secondly it’s hardly got anything to do with Maguire.

Feck me.

Something occurred to me. Journalists are supposed to know a bit about words which implies that they know what a briefing is, so when they talk about a briefing against Maguire are they suggesting that someone invited them to a meeting that had for topic Maguire?

Or are journalists full of it and trying to stir feces?

Chill man..

Don't cry about it too much, it happened, we know it happened so just accept it..

And what I said wasn't anything against Maguire, in fact I am loath to know that there is someone telling the media Maguire is shit, you don't say that about your teammate no matter what, at least not a sneaky way and before a big game.

The issue is how to deal with this dressing room ... ETH will need to figure that out.

If ETH fecks up very first decisions, he is toasted, no recovery from it, it will be question of when. That squad and its wage bill needs to be burned down, let them leech and steal a living out from first team.

That is why we need a clearout and for once the board need to make it clear they are backing the manager.

That article is very concerning. It just says senior management is unhappy and the player himself isn't playing well.

Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Bailly, Jones, Mata, Hendo, Cavani hardly played this year.

Ronaldo and DDG has been the only 2 players who has been decent .

Varane, Sancho won't make any comments as they just joined.

Shaw,AWB are buddies and won't do such thing.

That leaves Bruno, Fred, Dalot, Elanga, AWB ,McT .

Guess is Bruno !!

Those feckers can not stay in first team in any shape of form, if you cant sell or loan them, ETH have to move them to reserves, u15, they dont have any positive value, if he leaves them to stink around newcommers/new youth in the first team, they will just continue to spread rot and we will have same discussion over and over again.

A lot will see Maguire's name attached and disregard how much of a problem this is.

Some it will be trying to play in a nasty environment and it might have knocked the confidence of ones who don't have the personality to speak up, so it is knowing who the culprits are causing this and if they are going. If the troublemakers go or are made aware that they will be punished if they continue to cause problems, then hopefully we will get a better vibe around the dressing room. I am hoping a new manager will lift the confidence of some of these players and it will be interesting to see how he implements his ideas.

What do you expect when Jesse and Beanz have media pals in their pockets?

Ten Hag doesn’t stand a chance here.

Well likely Jesse won't be here or Henderson. Rashford needs to buck his ideas up. Pogba going, Matic going, Mata might be. Bailly should be. Jones should be.

You forgot Rashford

very much doubt it’s Bruno given he’s been made captain a few times this season

You’ve sadly become another negative poster. What’s the point.
I’m calling it as I see it. If that means it’s negative then so be it. I’m struggling to find a single positive outside of Ten Hag appearing to be somewhat motivated to be here. We’ll sharp drain that from him.
