Arguably even worse, because at least Sanchez was free
Yes but Hazard hasn’t played due to injury, Sanchez played regularly and was still bad.

If Hazard wasn’t struk by injury problems the league would have already been over with.

Needs to sit the rest of the season out. Reminds me of Jose's last season at Chelsea. He isn't 100%

People need to calm down. He's injured, not crap. Disappointing so far but he's barely played, should get at least another season before getting this sort of criticism.

As for the Mane comparisons, Mane is the better player for sure for the past few years. Much more dynamic player, doesn't need to see loads of the ball to have a big impact and he presses a lot more on top of everything.

I'm not really sure what that shluld prove, to be honest. Initially this debate emerged because I said that Hazard would be better than Mane in that system.
It should help to prove that Mané is a much better goalscorer than Hazard, he’s shown that for Soton and Liverpool. You’re really underrating Mané I believe. Without Mané’s goals, Liverpool wouldn’t have hit these heights imo. Hazard + Firmino is two players who are more creative players than prolific goalscorers. Hazard might be a better player in isolation, but imo certainly not for every team and set up. Like this Liverpool team.

He’s been pretty consistently great for three years. Hazard, as great as he was, had 1 great in every third season or so. Which I think should be taken into account.

Without Mane that system wouldn't exist. They'd have to tweak things to better fit hazard's skillset. Their attack would look much different and likely they would also have to replace firmino, who'd become sort of redundant next to Hazard, unless he can significantly improve his goalscoring
I’ve watched nothing of him this season but what the hell happened?
Came in fat in the summer, got injured right before the season began, took a couple months to play himself back to fitness, finally started looking great and promptly got injured again. Came back, looked good in his first game then got injured again in the second

We'll happily take him back off your Real's hands, with a discount of course . No way would we have lost as many games at home this season with him in the team.

He will be, as Roberto Martinez has said he's injured for the rest of the season

Madrid have not commented on how long Hazard will be out for, but when asked about the Belgium captain's latest injury, Martinez told reporters: "We are very sad, because this injury will leave him out of action for at least three months.

"A footballer like Eden should always be on the pitch. We have an excellent communication with Real Madrid's medical staff and we are anxious about Eden.

"It's a shame, because it has also happened before an important game as that of Manchester City."

What a disaster this signing has been. Seems like there was a glut of £150m signings (Dembele, Hazard, Coutinho) and they’ve all pretty much flopped.

Coming back to pre-season training overweight in your late twenties, followed by a season of injuries. There is a correlation there, and rather than say it’s cursed, the finger should be pointed at him for his lack of preparation ahead of such a big move.

He just doesn’t have the temperament or desire, and that is a big mark against him when talking about the worlds best players.

You would think United fans would look at Sanch from this lens. Spending £100m+ on any player is a huge risk.

Bale is closer to Pogba tbh
Crikey. Bale has won 4 CLs and produced massively for Madrid as a game changer he is far beyond the other names bandied about here. Pogba. You must have come to football pretty flipping recently if you believe that.

Glad at least to not have his injury troubles this season at OT. The whole football world would be pointing the finger at us and saying we've ruined another player when this happens a lot even at the so called best run clubs like PSG.

Shame to see his dream move play out like this but at the same time I thought he was overweight at the beginning.

If Madrid sell Hazard in the Summer, because that’s what they do, I’d take him plus money for Pogba.

Would sort our right wing out for 3 years

That already had that. Called bale
Erm...the one that's scored over a hundred goals for them? Not to mention the titles won. Sadly for Hazard, this season is written off. But all the more reason for him to return with a vengeance for next!

True but playing 1 match a year isn’t worth his insane salary.
This is Real Madrid we're talking about. Remember how they were doing in the CL in the 2000's and even in the Mourinho seasons. Bale's arrival was absolutely instrumental to La Decima and I think he also scored in at least one other final :wenger:. He's paid back his insane salary. If Hazard only plays El Classicos and the CL final and wins Real these matches, they'd consider that money well spent.

Wonder which consequences he himself will derive from that. He lost a whole year, and probably the most important one in his career, basically because of fitness reasons. I doubt that was worth it.

God forbid Real suffer their own Alexis Sanchez transfer. Gotta rush in and save them from that fate. Why not offer them Pogba and money, since we're in charitable mood?

Can you imagine, Hazard, Bale and Pogba. Man what a great group of players they'd have in the stands...

Fortunately, we are not stupid enough to do that anymore. With Jose I'm sure we would have.

This  seriously people...

Btw, hazard's injuries have been traumatic, not sure what coming in overweight in the summer has to do with anything

Pogba has played the same as Hazard, or less, this season. Although it seems incredibly unlikely
Shouldn't be the opposite? Pogba + money for Hazard?

How he plays in the premier league for years without getting injured then gets injured in La Liga which is a much softer league ?
