Sanchez, Falcao, Zlatan, Cavani, Ronaldo. Club really has to stop with these type of signings.

Hadnt Sanchez just turned 29 when we signed up and the season before scored a crazy amount for arsenal. It didn't work out obviously but seems kinda strange to put him as a "this type of signing" with a bunch of mid 30s players

not sure if there has been a more overhyped player for united recently. Swear listening to some people youd think he was the best striker weve ever had and we just arent using him enough/properly. Dude has been a joke for more time here than not. Dont give me shit about United begged him to stay if he didnt want to be here he shouldve just said no and gone back to Uruguay to just play for their shit like he has been anyways
his first season was good. He was the only one who showed a ounce of passion. Scored some lovely goals.. made himself a bit of a cult hero with the following...

Staying this season has badly messed that up. He clearly wanted to go and we clung on to him... it’s ruined the way we view him tbh.

Can't blame him

I've ended up really disliking Cavani as he epitomizes everything wrong with this squad. Uninterested but happy to collect a massive wage. he has really tarnished a good reputation he had with the fans.

We should just pay up his contract, he'd be on the first plane home.

Surely getting rid of a negative influence is better than having him hanging around.

Same, its actually annoying the support he gets from fans when hes made it clear that he doesnt want to be here and has taken the p this season with his "injuries". Has been a waste of a signing despite the few goals hes chalked up.

Day and night between his first and second season. He turned from a good professional and classy player to a mercenary sponging off the club.

Another huge mistake from our management and transfer team.

Did anyone see the game against Fulham yesterday?
And if so how did he play

Should have been let go last summer. Contributed a square root of fook all this season, while collecting big wages. Luckily won't see him in red shirt under Ten Hag.

He wasn’t even that good in the first season. He went through long-ish patches of poor form and got a couple of clusters of goals. It was just refreshing - and a pretty sharp contrast - to see a striker actually work hard!

He is a quality striker at the twilight of his career. Funny how people are slating him now he isnt playing, has had lots of niggling injuries.

I think he did well here and was a shame with the injuries and lack of opportunities this season. The only thing for me, he never really looked like he settled into the club and culture

His purple patch last season was a thing to behold. He taught all our players a lesson in work ethic and showed the forwards how to lead the line. Too bad it all went in one ear and out the other. Cheers for the good times (brief though they were).

Some cheek to be giving it the big one to the supporters during the lap around the pitch at the end. He’s been missing in action most of this season.

He did well in his first season and will undoubtedly go down as one of the best strikers of his generation, but the second we signed Ronaldo after asking him to stay another season and it became clear he was going to be second fiddle he definitely downed tools all second season

Good riddance. On to the next pay check Edi.
Sign a player who has had injuries for years for free.

Player shows great work ethic at 34, scores a bunch of goals and wants to leave, we beg him to stay and he agrees.

Now 35 year old injury prone player has a season riddled with injury.

"Good riddance" yeah that makes sense.

10m agent fee on signing and 10m per year salary. A free transfer in name only. Wish him well but Forlán is still our best Uruguayan.
