Regular day at the office.I assume everyone knows this, but I feel like someone should say it "out loud": Our Tooney had a goal and three assists in the friendly last night.

I was at the game and China were shockingly bad.I assume everyone knows this, but I feel like someone should say it "out loud": Our Tooney had a goal and three assists in the friendly last night.
Not so sure. If we let her go, more fool us. But we’ve done is with so many players. We all believe that Tooney will never leave United. It would still be nice to know if the club is in talks over a new contract, the current one ends in June.
Even if we granted that there is some possibility of Tooney playing for another club at some point in time, right now surely is not that time given the way the way we are systematically building toward being a serious contender for the WSL and WCL titles. We all believe that Tooney will never leave United. This is of course a very happy thought for us fans, but it got me to thinking: Does (or will) this "fact" hurt her in contract negotiations? Might the club take advantage of the situation and offer her less than she's worth on the open market? Would she be able to argue convincingly that she's willing to leave if United low-ball her?

Yes. It's frowned upon if you don't.I have a question: If I ever meet her, am I expected to bow to her?
Quite a few of the players have joked that Tooney is telling them they have to bow - or did when she first got the MBE.As an American who only partially understands the whole "MBE" thing, I have a question: If I ever meet her, am I expected to bow to her?
It probably doesn't matter because (1) it's unlikely I'll ever meet her face-to-face and (2) I would probably bow to her anyway, but I'm curious.
That's what got me wondering (half-seriously) about it -- stories of her teammates joking about now having to curtsy to her. I wondered if bowing was the male equivalent.Quite a few of the players have joked that Tooney is telling them they have to bow - or did when she first got the MBE.
