Exactly - he might well go there, but there are numerous 'top' clubs in for him, including (allegedly) Madrid, City Might (as unlikely as it seems given their political connections get a transfer ban following the charges, Pep isn't guaranteed to stay at City and it's conceivable whoever takes over after him might relatively struggle. United have sold players to Forest recently too: NFFC will sell to whoever offers the best price or accept offers at equivalent value and let Anderson decide, whilst in this case Ortega went cheap because he was 3rd choice.Since when?
Semenyo went to City because United turned him down earlier in the year, because United were in a relative slump when they came back in for him & and seemed far less likely to get CL than City at the time, and because his other non-Utd option was Spurs. It doesn't mean City automatically get any player that they ask for, however successful (and corrupt) they are. People just want to wallow in fatalism half the time.
