It’s worth pointing out that despite the announcement of the outcome of the 115 charges, a few posters have comment3d that the punishment from it is still years away thereafter. Not sure if that is true but if it is, it may factor in decisions the players are making.

Plenty of people including big parts of our fanbase thought the rio fee was insane, looking back it was incredible value. You try and sign the best possible players for your team, Anderson is currently one of the pl best mf.

This is not early 2000s where there were only 5-6 good PL teams. In this era a lot of clubs have money scouting and develop players better.
120m is for players that are proven entity, not with 1 good season under his belt.

If the club's transfer nerds are absolutely convinced he's the player that he's made out to be then I wouldn't be worried about paying £120m. It's a reasonable outlay for someone you think is pretty much a sure thing.

Actually, Radcliffe doing something for the club, even for his own agenda, would be quite a statement in itself. Beyond a certain point, you think just sit back and watch the show.
I mean they are getting investigated for financial fairplay and they still coming in with so much spending after a zero trophy season. Who else beside them and Chelsea is doing so? Even psg are rich and arrogant yet their spending look abit more realistic. Even if they got investigated what is going to happen? They will tell them no more transfer starting next year for a year? It still makes no sense to me, punishment announced or not, they would have been found guilty.
Most rival fans have zero respect for them now, it'll be pure digust if they are just allowed to continue as if nothing has happened if they've been found guiltly of most of the charges.
Couple this with Pep gone, more competition for his place, and the very real chance he could win very little there now they have to compete with a nomral manager, it's a very odd one to me, and a player I'd be happy to walk away from if he truly does prefer them over us.
You’re simply not going to get a price at that level. Not for sale class. Pedri’s release clause is €1,000,000,000 which even City and PSG won’t go near.
