It's tomorrow.

I'm interested from the point of Garner as I feel he deserves it based on his performance this season but I think that our (Everton) performance in the final weeks may have cost him his place. Rice and Anderson are nailed on with Wharton and Mainoo likely. I think Garner had a chance of being taken as a 5th midfielder or the 4th in place of one of those but we will see.

Also interested to see if he takes Foden and Palmer aswell considering their form or Maguire since he doesn't seem to rate him despite him probably still being one of the best options for England.

Can't see Maguire or Mainoo not making it. But will Shaw? For United it would not be a good move, but at least he has had a strong season of fitness this year. That time he missed months and still went was absolutely daft.

Is Luke Shaw likely to go? I think Hall is first choice, but England aren't exactly stacked at LB. I guess it'll be Hall and O'Reilly.

Haven't watched much of England so not sure where O'Reilly has made his appearances.

Mainoo and Harry defo. Luke maybe but have my doubts Tuchel will do it

Looking back on previous tournaments it's mad that Steve Bull went to Italia 90 as a Div 2(what is now the Championship) player. Hard to imagine that happening now unles they were playing out of their skin or they'd been promoted at the end of the season but were still technically Championship

Surely Henderson is going as the 5th midfielder? I don't think he should be but can't see why Tuchel would've picked him in every squad so far for any other reason.

Hope he picks Henderson and he starts

England should be having Shaw as their starting LB. Very underrated player.

Unlikely, Hall, O'Reilly and even Skelly is more than enough coverage. Shaw has been defensively good but lacks the athleticism all the other options have.

Maguire and Mainoo should be going. Can't see Shaw making the squad even though I think he should.

Think you have the best overall squad. France obviously have the best attack but their defense and midfield isn't the best.

So, really excited for you to fail again.

Didn't Tuchel say he did not fancy Maguire or something like that?

Probably but I think the leadership role he will take is overstated. Rice, Pickford, Kane, Maguire, Shaw can all represent that and are all arguably starters. I don't think the latter two will get picked however.

Has Maguire even made any of Tuchels squads? Think Mainoo and (technically) rashford are the only United players making the squad.

Oh yeah it's absolutely a waste of a pick, I just don't see him not picking him

Yeah, if they're only taking 2 - I cant see him getting in ahead of Hall and O'Reilly. MLS has played very little games at left back this season though, but agreed with Shaw's overall physicality isn't good enough. But who knows.

I'm not sure their squad is stronger than the French squad. Granted the French midfield isn't great.

But yeah, a very strong squad (all else considered) but they'd have to hope their attackers/playmakers find their form as most haven't had great seasons.

I guess a long winded way of saying/asking: who misses out from Rogers, Gibbs-White, Bellingham, Gordon, Foden, Saka, Rashford and Palmer. I'm sure I might even be missing someone...

I don't think Shaw is going either, but international football may suit him a lot better than Premier League. A safe choice imo. Hall and O'Reilly are both kids, Tuchel might opt that one of the two LB's is a seasoned pro who's seen it all.

I don't see Shaw going, with O'Reilly and Hall both ahead of him. I do hope Maguire goes though, even if Tuchel doesn't rate him that highly, he's a better "vibes" option than Henderson and Burn, who are both in contention for a place in the squad with only emergency minutes given. Maguire, would also provide a much more credible value on the pitch than the other two as well.

I forgot Shaw was at the 2014 World Cup. Welbeck too. Looks like Henderson is the only one left who has been in Tuchel squads.

Other 20 year old or younger players in 2014 were Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sterling and Barkley. Not the generation for longevity!

I’m usually of the opinion to support all our players’ international interests. Regardless of the benefit it may have on the club. Only for Shaw though, I want him to not be in the squad for the sake of his long term fitness. His presence in the previous Euro squad where he played one game (the final) in 13 months was a blow we just couldn’t recover from. He should rest and prolong his United career.

Leave Palmer at home. Take James.

Tuchel likes Colwill and there's been rumours he might be included but he's played 180 mins this entire season. From a selfish pov, I hope Palmer and Colwill are left at home.

Mainoo and Maguire will make the cut. Shaw I think will miss out and I fully expect Foden to also miss out and that is the right decision.

I think that's a mistake, Shaw can also play centre back and has more experience than the other two which is invaluable in a tournament.

I wonder if Myles Lewis-Skelly makes the cut. Ordinarily you'd say his resurgence came too late in the season but he does cover multiple positions so could be a useful squad member.

Garner should be in ahead of Wharton, but probably won't be as he's too similar to Rice and Anderson. Wharton is the only one that provides the line breaking one touch passes.

England's midfield looked rather weak in the last couple of tournaments but this time theres a good selection to choose from. Garner imo has been the unsung hero woth little acknowledgement in comparison to other english midfielders. I would personally take him

Don't think garner will go. He probably should but Henderson will go instead.

I think Shaw, Foden, Garner miss out.

I think he a certainty to get in if he's fully up for it . He's been very good this season it has to said. Selfishly I would prefer if he didn't go but he loves playing for England and he has ten years experience on the other options. Possibly his last tournament. I'd be surprised if he wasn't picked and was the starting LB in the first match

Hall is comfortably better and think he's a cert to go then I'd expect O'Reilly to be the cover there, I'd be shocked if Shaw goes

Versatility can be useful in smaller squads, but don't think it is that valuable when there are 26 men and 2-3 options for every position.

Either way it's a good problem to have. I'd personally prefer the player with experience who came 3rd over the pretender in a team who came 11th. There's obviously going to be experienced players left out as there has to be a mix but Shaw has proven himself to be a very good tournament player

I’d be reluctant to take Shaw. I’ve been a long term backer of him and he’s a good defender but he offers so little going forwards.

Gibbs White has to go for me. Always looks dangerous.

If Henderson goes then I might just change my allegiance to Scotland.

Didn't Tuchel say he did not fancy Maguire or something like that?
Yes, but that he can still see what he brings to the squad in certain situations. Basically, a good option if we’re leading and sitting deep or need to go all out for a goal.

Im surprised James Hill never seems to be in the conversation for the England squad.

He has been outstanding all season. Much better than Stones or Burn Imo.

Think he will be in the convo for the next tournament if he keeps developing at this level.
