Have to say Tuchel’s decisions have been extremely puzzling, especially the substitutions today ceding all control to Norway. Is he some sort of a mad genius or just mad? Guess we’ll find out soon.
 
Every change results in someone switching positions. This is just stupid.

Its a joke.

A little bit of me is worried however that Mainoo can't force his way on the pitch for England, wasn't rated by Amorim, and yet Mancheater United are set to build a midfield around him.

We’ve just seen him play a key role in Utd finishing 3rd beating City and Arsenal and Liverpool along the way. Tuchel being thick doesn’t mean he’s not capable.

where is/was it stated that we're building a midfield around Mainoo?
 
Terrible subs. Dropping Bellingham deep, then moves him back and then drops him deep again. Doesn’t make any sense? Same with taking Gordon off.

Southgate took Kane off for Watkins and he scored a winner against Holland. Tuchel should have done the same as Kane has been dreadful.
 
Neither side has been very good really. Obviously the heat will be partly to blame for that but probably also just that they aren't very good.
 
Tuchel has been fecking dreadful today. Even worse than Madueke.
 
Be honest: can anyone say this is better than Southgate?
 
We need Mainoo and Rashford on. Rashford for some pace on the counter, Mainoo because he's actually a central midfielder.
 
People talk about Kane as he's the goalscorer but Bellingham is the real star of this team. He raises to the big occasions and doesn't shy away from responsibilty when the going gets tough. Big game player.

Most clutch player in Europe easily

Lives for the big occasion when the stakes and pressure are the highest and never shies away from the responsibility.

Those types are worth their weight in gold, elite mentality
 
Don't think it was a pen but also don't think it's one VAR should overturn.

Fair play to England. Not pretty, but it was never going to be in this heat. To come back from a goal behind in conditions where you really don't want to be chasing the game is impressive in its own way.
 
Recovery is everything. Going to be an exhausted collective for the next game.

Need Argentina vs Switzerland to be equally gruelling.
 
Every country would love to have Bellingham. What a big game player.
 
England win despite the manager. Won't be good enough to win the World Cup though.

Subs were fine I thought. Spence did very well, Rodgers set up the goal, Burn was very good last ten minutes.

He messed up at first moving Bellingham back, but at least rectified it.
