Us of all clubs should know that dunking on the bundesliga doesn’t mean shit. I don’t buy that he’s suddenly become a good player after managing just 5 goals for Stoke when he was in England.

I for one am glad that he is too bad for United. That means we can keep him. Great back up player. Don't know where we would find someone better for that role.

Probably should have brought him on as a backup after he scored that double against us a decade ago. He's gone to PSG and Bayern as a decent bench option and now being looked at for United so many years later? Absolute trash scouting.

His contract is up In the summer so if they wanted a fee…. It’s not quite the laughing emoji you make it out to be
You are correct. It should have been three laughing emojis and not only one.:lol::lol:

He is currently starting for Bayern and they don’t need the achievable fee. Therefore there is a less than zero chance of him being sold in January.

If at all Bayern want to sell, might be a very smart buy if Ronaldo is leaving. Pretty much what we wanted Arnautovic to be. Decent back up that can serve a couple of seasons. Doesn't stop us buying a starting striker when we're ready (looking at you sick note Martial).

Can he do it on a rainy night in Stoke?
No he couldnt as far I remember but a very interesting career he's had since then.
Guess we could take him but it would be Ighalo 2.0 - we need a starter

Chipou Moting and Gnabry excelling at Bayern Munich. Imagine waking up after 5 years in a coma and seeing that

Looks like Bayern is open to selling him this winter. After Kane's arrival and Tel developing well he is now third choice only so not really needed any more... let's see who shows serious interest, maybe United again? Wouldn't surprise me at all.

How are we being linked with signing this guy in January again when he'll be off to afcon? These gossip columns are ridiculous.

Just checked his name isn't in squad and wouldn't call Whitwell a gossip column either. He could be rotation for Rasmus and then get Werner too as different type of striker.

I read it in the BBC Football pages gossip collumn.

We shouldnt be targetting a 34 year old at this point, especially one who failed at Stoke City

It’s in our most recent history as the exact thing we do:
Falcao
Ibrahimovic
Ighalo
Cavani
Ronaldo
Weghorst

Will Bayern let us take him on loan until the end of the season? Martial is always injured and Hojlund isn't enough alone. I think he'd be a useful addition as we don't have enough numbers up front and he's decent.

Probably. By now he is third choice behind Kane and Tel.

Not sure we'd let AFCON be a factor tbh. Wouldn't actually miss many games for us at all.

Between having no money and there being no options we might not have a choice given we definitely need some numbers up front.

He has been in front of Tel as Kane’s backup all season long and I don’t see why that would have changed. He also can’t be loaned out, I think, because his contract is running out.

If we're being totally honest, he probably would be starting for us more often than not.

Ticks all the boxes of what we usually go for as a loan signing

Underwhelming spell at an English club? Yep

Past his best? Yep

Never really became a great player? Yep

Guaranteed to be a shite signing? And yep

Our scouts will love him

He has made 19 apps this season scoring only 3 goals while Tel has made 20 apps and scored 6

And Tel has played basically always as a winger while Choupo Moting was the backup for Kane.

A loan wont be an option, since Choupo-Moting only has six month left on this contract.
Also Cameroon didn't call him up, so he wont be at AFCON.
