ERIK TEN HAG has outlined a shortlist of priority positions Manchester United should look to address in the transfer market.

Ten Hag has held a meeting with United director John Murtough to discuss the areas United will prioritise.

Four players will be prioritised this summer, with two midfielders, a versatile attacker and a centre-half all on the list. My guess is:

CENTRE BACK = Goncalo Inacio
CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Frenkie De Jong
CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Ibrahim Sangare
VERSATILE ATTACKER = Christopher NKunku

Who do we think it will be?

£5M - CENTRE BACK = Goncalo Inacio
£35M - CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Frenkie De Jong
£10-15M - CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Ibrahim Sangare
£10-15M - VERSATILE ATTACKER = Christopher NKunku

Total spend: £60-70M. That leaves room for more strengthening, such as Rice (£50-60M) + AWB replacement.

Sangare would be AMAZING. You're not getting FdJ for 35m btw.

FdJ
Sangare
Nkunku
Timber

These prices are nonsense. Literally every one of them is massively under what's being reported

£5M - CENTRE BACK = Goncalo Inacio
£35M - CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Frenkie De Jong
£10-15M - CENTRE MIDFIELDER = Ibrahim Sangare
£10-15M - VERSATILE ATTACKER = Christopher NKunku

Total spend: £60-70M. That leaves room for more strengthening, such as Rice (£50-60M) + AWB replacement.

Mate, your chutney has been in the fridge too long if you’re serious about those prices.

You've been covering those lower league tweets for too long, mate. It's skewed your fee perception.

You'd struggle to get those types of players for those prices in 2002.

Those prices...

It'd take 70m+ just to get De Jong.

Staring for hours at the actual sun will accomplish more than reading The Sun. At least you’ll go blind as a result, and never have to read The Sun again.

Sangare would be a good signing, I haven't seen a single credible link to him though? I still think we'll get Kamara on a free instead because of how expensive De Jong and our new striker signing are likely to be.

Even if my price predictions are wrong by 10-15%, we could still get those 4 players for £69-81M, and have room leftover for Rice (£60-70M).

We won't buy a centre back before a right back. Unless the centre back can also play right back.

Considering our budget, lack of CL football and competition from other clubs I would guess something like

CB - Jurien Timber
CM - Konrad Laimer
CM - Boubacar Kamara
VA - Jonathan David

Kamara is on a free and the other 3 should come in at around 100m total which about fits what we are expecting absent any major incoming transfer fees.

Interesting. Wouldn't hate it. Probably do without David but yeah.

You’re living in a fantasy if you think we are gonna get those players that cheaply and still have enough to sign Rice.

You are referencing agent fees or annual wages here right? What about actual transfer fees!
