He also had 2 disallowed, hit the woodwork once and had a penalty ruled out by VAR (probably correct to not give it though)

In U-20 WC, the old record was 6. For senior teams, the record is 5 (Oleg Salenko 1994). Havn´t checked all ages, but 9 is hard to beat - I suppose for all ages in a WC.

Yes, I think so too. When the others lost counting and asked him how many he had scored, he said 9, while the correct number was around 6.

I would guess a record goal in a single game is held by a New Zealander (or Iranian or Australian).

If they believe on his potential they have the resources to keep him,improve him and sell him. If he develops he still can have his promotion to Leipzig.

He was decent but only one finish really stuck out.

Honduras were horrendous.
