What happened to him this season? Can't find much statistics of him from main sources.

I'm surprised no links since Ole took over.

EDIT: Shit I meant for this to be on Football forum.

Hasn't featured a lot since moving to Salzburg in January, which I guess was sort of expected considering he's an 18 year old moving to a tougher league. Got his first goal today and I think it was the first game he has started.

He's one to watch at the U20 World Cup starting in a fortnight.

There's still time for him to declare for England.

Norway is out already (i think), so maybe not.
Still a chance as the 4 best nr. 3 in each group also enter the knock-out stage. Depends on the results in the other matches, but there is a fair chance.

A hat-trick of hat-tricks. Rom out, Haaland in!

Tbh I reckon his dad would advise against it, has a massive chip on his shoulder about United.

Another Norwegian thread.
If you score 9 goals in one game - that can be quite justified. None of our strikers would have scored 5 in todays game

He also had 2 disallowed, hit the woodwork once and had a penalty ruled out by VAR (probably correct to not give it though)

Are we sure he doesn’t hate United? The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Rashford destroyed Norway U20 with his hat trick 3 years ago

Alan Smith was a big local Leeds fan but it didn't stop him joining us..

This Haland kid looks a very interesting prospect at 18.

9 goals. That some sort of record?
In U-20 WC, the old record was 6. For senior teams, the record is 5 (Oleg Salenko 1994). Havn´t checked all ages, but 9 is hard to beat - I suppose for all ages in a WC.

I'd have my eyes open for matchfixing. As awful as Honduras regularly performs in international tournaments, losing in this fashion should not be possible at this level in 2019

He was already well known for those who followed youth tournaments. Probably adjusting on his first months at Salzburg. If there is one thing Red Bull worldwide isn’t incompetent is scouting players. If they believe on his potential they have the resources to keep him, improve him and sell him. If he develops he still can have his promotion to Leipzig.

Apparently FIFA are looking into just that.

Glad I'm not the only one notice this. RB Salzburg has an amazing scouting system.

So was he really THAT good? Or was Honduras just that bad.

I can only think that a team allowing 9 goals and several other chances must have not been trying at all. How embarrassing for them and their country.

He was decent but only one finish really stuck out.

Honduras were horrendous.

Matchfix levels of bad.
