Europa League and Conference League semi finals

I hope Forest go through. Villa winning this means there's a good chance 6th gets a CL place and having almost a third of the league in the CL is just silly.

Shakhtar player called Equinaldo. At least they are moving away from names like Kevin, Fred, John, Dave.

Forest going through surely makes them favourites for the final, so they’ll be the 6th team anyway.

Potential ankle breaker. They didn't even give a foul.

That challenge could've broken his leg. How is that not considered dangerous?

Does Anderson have a little bit of Keane in him with a nasty tackle like that?

He is playing well.

Feck off Anderson, you dirty Geordie cnut.

Sorry, just practising for next season.

I refuse to see how that's not a foul on Watkins. Such a blatant shoulder barge with no attempt to play the ball.

Only seen parts of this game, but it's an attritional borefest (boring, that is, except for the odd spicy tackle or wingers showing a flash of something 40 yards from goal and being promptly locked down five yards further). Sides better at spoiling each other's rhythm than moments of magic; fine for managers grinding their way to a final but not a great ad for the league...

Is it Premiership arrogance to say an English team win should win the EL and the conference league? I think it’s cool in some ways but the competitions look a little short of those second level famous clubs (Sevilla, Lazio, Lyon etc)
