I'm back for a change! Yes it would be me covering a defeat :lol: well I have also been accused of being sensationalist like a fan channel, so I have tried to watch what I say this time around! Enjoy and hope it is as cathartic for you listening as it was for us discussing!

Nik(@Rood) and Jamie(@Vault Dweller) bring themselves to discuss the dismal Europa League final. After that post-mortem they discuss the win against Villa, Amorim's future, and some of the latest transfer news.

Great end of season episode lads. Delighted with my shout out for winning the United hour fpl league. Hope its a good prize.
Have to agree with Nik on saying I've been more disappointed in the past with other defeats. I think because in the past our teams where good, and showed fight and maybe we just liked them players more. Now I think it's hard to like many of these players. Also nothing surprises us anymore with this team. I'm just disappointed that in a final we didn't seem up for it. Lose a game, that's fair enough but give it your all. That hurts the most and it is worrying for next season. I hope Amorim is the guy for the job but nights like the other night sometimes make me feel like this job is too big for him. Time will tell, but the thoughts of him leaving and starting the process of getting a new man in is draining. Anyway enough of my rant. Thanks for another great pod as always guys.

Cheers mate and congrats on the win! @Rood did seem gutted to have lost :p and yeah we will sort something out mate.

Yeah that's fair enough and can understand others feeling worse. Maybe I attached far too much to this game, after the awful league form and continually writing games off as there was still the Europa League, so to have so much building to it and turn that performance in left me very flat and disillusioned. And yeah, there is a lot of concern now that in big games like that he might get over-awed, as we have already seen it happen. Cheers!

And as you said Jamie, we lost four times to Spurs. Fair enough that can happen , but we lost four times to this spurs!!!! They are absolutely shocking . That makes it even worse. But the only way is up...........I think

Congrats on the United Hour FPL win, I was hoping to beat you so we didn't have to post out to Ireland!

Big questions over Amorim but it's clear the club are going to give him this summer to build his own squad - I'm expecting an unprecedented amount of ins & outs, our Chief Transfer Muppet is already going into overdrive
