Everyone is up for sale (again)

Plenty of our players are going nowhere, they will either cost us too much to move on wage wise or attract zero interest for a variety of reasons.

Shaw for example is in his 11th season at the club and his 5th permanent manager, no one in their right mind is going to take a punt on a player who is on a massive wage and has missed more matches than he has played.

I'd love to think that the club wouldn't move on some of our younger players Yoro/academy lads.

Literally being run by a bunch of incompetents. Ineos have managed to be worse than the Glazer's, having these two running the club is why Utd are in complete disarray. Until that changes anything is possible, who knows how far we could fall.

I highly doubt Amad, Yoro, Bruno are up for sale. Likewise Obi and heaven.

Even with 25% wage cut, most of our players are still on to high of a wage to make them sellable. Honestly think Casemiro and Rashford will be here in September

Hear this shit every summer. We will still be stuck with the same shitty players come next season.

Pretty much. The club has cultivated a group of largely overpaid and underperforming players that teams in other leagues know they can eventually get at a cut rate.

I think anyone over 25 could be sold and it wouldn't necessarily be a negative assuming fees are good.

They’re inviting offers ….trouble is there aren’t any
There will be offers for quite a few of them still. The rumour about Hojlund and Serie A clubs is probably true. You only have to look at how Antony was viewed when he was here and now people are going on about how good he’s been in Spain etc.

I still fancy us to be able to get rid of:

Hojlund (loan)
Rashford
Antony
Sancho
Garnacho
Mainoo (controversial and hard to take)
Bayindir
Collyer
Bruno (a bit sad that one)

It’s the ones that have been here a while and/or have high wages that will be difficult to shift (Mount, Shaw, Casemiro, Onana). I still think two of those could leave.

Sounds like a nonsense report and not what the club would put out there.

That's funny. No, was a joke right? This was briefed a number of times last year. Even in the lead up to the FA Cup final.

I would honestly take the Glazers back to running the football side of things. Jim and Berrada are a disgrace doing the merry-go-round in the hierarchy showing no foresight to make the right decisions at any capacity.

The whole top four or out the door for Glazers hasn't allowed United to win the league, but it did keep the lowest league finish with their 'guidance' to 6th place.

Glazers > INEOS it's that pathetic.

With cash as tight as it sounds you do not give everyone a heads up on a fire sale the sharks will low ball you every deal.

You overestimate the people in charge mate. Also, I think we might be desperate and we don't know how to shift players. Hope I'm wrong.

Why would the club need to 'brief' the Mirror that our players are for sale?

Like other clubs are planning their transfers by reading tabloid newspapers.

Agents are briefed, information leaks.

Well, I'd rather neither but I get your point. What we can't have is this current situation of two different owners who obviously have different views on how they want Utd run. I don't see how this continues without the club ending up relegated. It's too toxic and this relationship now will only get worse due to the state the team is in.

One benefit of losing last night is that our players (who clearly didn’t deserve it anyway) won’t get a wage hike for getting into the champions league.

This will hopefully mean that their wages will be more manageable for other teams and that we are less likely to get players hanging around on their monster salaries!

I think it's pretty easy to see what our defensive group will be.

Wing/Full backs: Dalot, Mazraoui, Dorgu, Amass
Center backs: De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro, Licha, Heaven, Fredricson

Lindelof gone, Shaw we'll try to sell. The rest will stay.

Midfield and attacking group, I genuinely have no idea what we'll look like. Amad will stay. I'd hope Bruno stays but wouldn't begrudge him leaving as he deserves a top club. The rest, no idea. Probably Ugarte and Zirkzee stay. The rest are a waste of space or not wanted by Amorim or don't make sense keeping with their wages/age profile and our situation.

Fredricson and Amass may well go out on loan, we needed them due to injury issues but they won't get much first team action next season you would assume and I don't see much benefit in them going back to the U21 ranks. We do have Leon to add to the Wing/Full back group and I do think we are still in the market for a RWB this season as evidenced by our desire to sign Quenda before Chelsea nicked him from under our noses.

I think Ineos have been terrible for the club but they give the impression that they won’t be fecked over with transfer fees. I believe Garnacho was told he could leave, was widely reported in the media, yet Chelsea and Napoli didn’t cough up the money so we refused. Just because a player is listed as being available doesn’t necessarily mean we’re going to accept any old offer.

It's DiscoBS

But yeh, we do need a reset. I know it's never realistic to sell a lot of players and buy a lot of players in a window.

Let's do that this summer, let this window be the excitement that we've missed all season. Arise muppets

I want 2 names out and 1 name in every week ending with a deadline day bonanza of a flurry of players in!

If I don't see a flight radar a week, it's INEOS out

In many ways Fergie's greatest achievement was the way he could "disappear" a player that had overstepped the mark, lost a yard of pace or got too big for his boots.

I suspect there was a lot of "under the table" deals that went on in more murky financial times.

The question is it worth taking a one-off hit to clean the stables once and for all.

I wonder how many of the pro Ratcliffe camp who staunchly preferred him to Jassim are feeling right now ? You know who you are, it would be interesting to hear what your thoughts are now about the state of the club. By the way, just for clarity, I was in the pro Jassim camp.

Same nonsense Ratcliffe and Berrada are running a clown show. The focus is on the players yet United haven't had one world class manager since SAF departure and the only candidate who fits that criteria was an over the hill Jose who competitively has won the most from a prestigious standpoint at the club.

Nothing has changed, spend 150 this summer and guess what it's average to below average managers pioneering a rebuild. This time around there's a coach who's one dimensional and inexperienced. The club doesn't learn, INEOS is the worst thing to happen in the last decade without a shadow of a doubt.

Say what you want about the Glazers but their worst league finish with running the footballing side is 6th and that was with a manager who was supposed to be come in temporarily to then assume a role in the hierarchy. Jim has come in and standards have fallen dramatically short.
Jose Mourinho and Louis Van Gaal are two of the best managers in the history of the game

We’re braced for the influx of loan offers with options to buy for a pizza from the Italian sides

Ha! Who's buying them? Who's paying the stupid wages these clowns will want?

Obvious press brief by Ineos to make it look like they’re furious and it’s on the players rather than on themselves for dithering on sacking ETH after the FA Cup final, backing ETH because no one else wanted the job, sacking ETH weeks into the season after giving him a fortune in the summer, not listening to Ashworth on the next coach even though it was his job, telling Amorim it was now or never when he wanted to come at the end of this season, setting Amorim up to fail and letting Ashworth go.

Don’t get me wrong the players played a big part and Amorim played a big part in both neither of them being anywhere near good enough BUT Ineos have shown piss poor leadership and decision making after all the big talk when they came in January of last year in not making the mistakes the club have made in the past just to make the exact same ones but take us to even greater lows.

We need the majority of the squad moved on. It won’t be easy to get buyers for some of them, whilst others might be happy to run down their contracts, but the board need to do everything they can to offload most of them. I named thirteen players yesterday who I want gone asap. I’m sure most fans feel similarly.

I suspect not Shaw, not Casemiro, not Bruno, not Dalot, not Amad, not Yoro, not Mount, not Maguire. They're either performing well under him or spoke highly of him publicly yesterday. I doubt Mazra, de Ligt, or Dorgu.

There have already been reports about Mainoo being uncertain about his role in the team under Amorim. Garnacho is obviously pissed off (understandably) and he's the one who has suffered most with the change in formation. I'll suspect Sancho and Rashford over any leak until they are properly moved on for good. Antony seems to be OK with Amorim. Not too many that come to mind, and no one of consequence.

Bring on the purge.

I believe Ratcliffe is genuinely willing to sell anyone, and I'm not talking about accepting ludicrous and unrealistic offers either.

Some ruthlessness is what we desperately need. I couldn't care less who is sold.

We need an open bus top parade for end of the season, so we can parade them for sales.

The players and manager can also publicly apologise to the fans during the parade for the horrible season and underwhelming performances.
