I'm optimistic for a good, close, existing and competitive season.

No idea why. Even with a relatively close season last year, the races were in the most, fairly boring and there wasn't enough car overtaking car (rather than DRS overtaking car) action.

F1 could do with a bit of a shake up - but i'm a sucker so i'll be up at 5am watching the early GP's as always.

It definitely exists, ive seen it ont telly.

As for the cars, the Williams looks good but I don’t like that Red Bull.

It's the temporary Special Edition livery. Apparently the race livery will be revealed at the uocoming pre season.testing.

I'd love a good run from Red Bull this year.
I think Ricciardo and Verstappen are by far the most likeable racers on the grid.

Love the car, shame it's not the final look though.

The halo looks pretty terrible on track:

And a depressing photoshop from Reddit of what could have been:

I think most on here think he's a twat. I respect and quite like him, think he's got the attitude of a champion in the making - and why not? You'll get no where in this sport being too nice.

Yeah shame that RB always bring out awesome 'special liveries'. but then go back to the bog standard colours every year.

I'm really out of touch with F1, but looking at these images it looks like the halo will make a quick exit from the car considerably more tricky, no?

That's a fair point, but I dont think it will make much difference.
Driver will use the Halo to launch themselves out, it actually could help getting pout a bit quicker.

I'm sure they will have tested it, it just looks restricting.

Ferrari is unveiled today right? They always look good.

I just want to know how Honda will develop the engine during this year.

Not liking the Halo at all. But what matters is what the drivers think. If they truly believe it will be for their benefit, then I am not apposed to it. Have we heard any driver interviews regarding it? If its disliked by all (team bosses, drivers and fans) then maybe they should have come up with a better solution.

Ferrari looks better than Mercedes. Love the fact the halo has been painted red as the car. Now it needs to be fast :D

Verstappen said he doesn't like it.

Since Senna there has only been one death in F1, Jules Bianchi, would the Halo have saved his life ? , if the answer is yes then the Halo is a must.
I am not a fan of it, but if it does save even one life it is worth it.

Senna would have died with or without the halo. So would Bianchi.

There have been a few serious accidents that could have been avoided with it, Massa a few years ago is the most recent I can think of.
