Mercedes Strategy team have fecked up here, he should have stayed out and took the risk of being overtaking by RBR and Ferrari.

What a ridiculous call from Mercedes, do it far too late if they were going to do it

Lewis is losing it. He's absolutely fuming and it's showing in his lap times too. Man if this had been Verstappen..

Mercedes show a disturbing reliance on computers instead of opening their eyes or listening to their drivers. The inters take 4-5 laps to get going, what’s the point pitting him with 7 to go?

Exactly the point. The computer computes.
The driver can feel the car through his body.

As Button has pointed out a million times in this race, the drivers go through a graining period after 2/3 laps of quick pace, everyone had that same period. And Max would be telling his team to leave him alone, as would pretty much any driver would when fecked like that. Hell even someone like Ricciardo tells his team to leave him alone when he's screwed.
Has Lewis found his dummy, looks like he spat it out.

He can blame the team this week, but they also saved him last race
And fecked him in Monaco, France and Hungary.
So you think he should have stayed on?
Yes. He made it clear he could manage the car and the likeliest outcome was 3rd or 4th. Instead they pitted him which guaranteed 5th.

Think that was the tyres graining.

If it was Max? you mean like when he gets annoyed after a pit stop and ends up on top of Hamilton’s car?

We dont know that. Perez would probably have caught him. Leclerc might have as well.
Yeah but there’s also a chance they can’t pass him and he holds onto P3, Mercedes have played to cautious here and should have stuck out, worse case scenario if he stays out has the same result as pitting.

and they might not, they should have left him out, drivers decision should be what matters, if it fails all on him.
It was a mistake to bring him in then but the really big mistake was not just pitting at the same time as everyone else.

If he'd pitted a lap after Perez he'd probably be on the podium now.
