The first round started last night and BBC AND ITV are featuring lots of games over the weekend.

My boys are in the first round for the first time in 15 years at home to Wimbledon and I'm taking my daughter for her first ever live game. Feels like a huge day.

Some potential giant killings today and the prize money is huge to clubs like ours. Let's hope its a good competition this year.

The magic of the cup. 1-1 draw meaning I get to visit plough Lane for the replay. This is our equaliser. We went mad, I'm in that melee somewhere.

Buzzing for Alvechurch following in Worcester City's footsteps of 2014 by knocking out a League One side away. Also stuck it right to broadcasters for deciding not to show their game.

It'll be a PL team. It's always a PL team

TBH though, getting City or Liverpool away would be okay for the first match. Either knock out a big boy, gain confidence and make the thing easier to win, or create some rest time in the fixture list.

At this stage, if games finish as a draw do we get extra time & pens or a replay? Hoping it’s the former.

Chelsea vs Citeh
Oxford vs Arsenal
Liverpool vs Wolves
Man Utd vs Everton

Would’ve wanted a weaker team but it’s at Old Traffors so we “should” do well

Considering what Chelsea and Wolves got - we cant complain when we get a home draw against a team like Everton.

Of course we get a prem team. Another opportunity to see some of our youngsters gone, can't see us risking them against Everton

No it’s not the worst draw but it’s still incredible how often we get PL teams. Feels like we’re always one of the last teams to come out as well.

For a change, be nice to have a home draw against a Boreham wood or Hartlepool United

Bloody hell. :(

Another PL team! Another tough draw that will be a difficult match and that can't we afford to rest players for despite the packed schedule.

Yeah we can. It's just that they can complain as well. We all got shit draws - United, City, Chelsea, Wolves, Everton.

Chelsea new owner didn’t cover the cup draw brown envelopes. Happens when a new administration just moves in..

How anyone can think it’s a decent Draw baffles me. With all those little teams to choose from we end up with a dull game against a textbook game raising PL side.
