FA Cup 3rd round | 9/1/26 - 12/1/26

If someone told you City won 10-1 and Haaland started you'd have thought he'd scored 5 or 6. He didn't score at all!

Robin Roefs will win us the world cup.

Come on Cowman, put him in.

Team stays professional "What are they bullying them for?", team gets complacenet "They aren't respecting them", team gets cocky because game is over "Buncha show boats". Complete nonsense City did the right thing by staying professional and maintaining standards.

Lots of the players who kept the momentum till the last minutes today were playing for places and in some cases their future at the club. With all the negative talk around them like Rico Lewis, Khusanov and younger players like McAidoo, Alleyne, etc... they needed to show how good they are.

Also Exeters goalkeeper is tiny so shot or target pretty much equals goal. His bio says 5.11 on wikipedia but he looks smaller than that to me.

Yes Exeter were appealing as they are in plenty of financial trouble currently. It would be good PR for Man. City in these times if they actually realise it.

Also should be an option imo given we know there are no replays anymore. Exeter 20 years back got that famous 0-0 at Old Trafford to get a replay back in Devon and that practically saved the club and allowed them to have a really good run in the league since.

I am in, it is not like City are in need for money so maybe. But did they really have to be so try hard? They demolished them.

What an end to the game...Gordon should have made it 4-3. Lovely to see, now come on you Cherries!

Bournemouth have been involved in some cracking games this season.

United gave Exeter 100% of the gate receipts from that 0-0 draw

Not sure the magic of the cup has been said enough times today

Forget about Macclesfield.

City shamelessly beating a League 1 team 10-1 after spending half a billion while under investigation for cheating, that's where the real magic is.

Absolutely incredible stuff.

He's the lad on loan from Palace, saw him in some other cup game a while back for pens, he looked absolutely tiny, looked like someone put a child in goal.

Supposed to be highly rated at Palace though.

They do, but they also got rid of replays which in a club like Exeter's case is a lifeline.
That’s a good point. I remember someone (probably an owner not a manager) saying he’d have preferred to draw at home to a Prem club than take the win they earned,
Shame that it’s come to that, but I do understand.

Looks like the Spurs tactics to kick us off the pitch. Hopefully the ref wakes up as that was a blatant yellow for Palhinha.

I’m not saying it was/wasn’t but I hate refs who have a mindset of “I can’t do that so early”. I’d say that’s the BEST time to book a player (if a cardable offence), shows them all what’s coming.

And PGMOL review should suspend refs who don’t follow rules all the time.

That Spurs 1901 tribute jersey would look neat if it didn’t have the sponsor shit on the arm.
