50 years ago this year and 1973 prior to that and then 1964 - in my lifetime it's happened only 3 times and I'm over 60!

How is training Valencia's left foot a bad thing? Kind of defeats the point of English coaches being backward if they recognise two-footedness as a good thing to have?
There's no such thing as English citizenship. Northern Irish people have the same citizenship as anyone else in the UK.

I think it goes on to a much more orthodox, subtle point of leaving players be sometimes. Some players thrive on being one footed and must be left alone, or have other quirks from the streets and playgrounds that shouldn't be coached out of them, because of orthodox coaching. It may seem to not make sense. If Valencia has made it to Man United levels, or Maradona has made it to god levels, it's because they were left alone to one foot it in natural ways. I mean, why bang on about Valencia's lack of a left foot, when he's probably the greatest footballer Ecuador has ever produced and has Mourninho labeling him as at one time the best right back in football. It's because he is unorthodox and one footed, and thank god god someone didn't coach it out of him and let him flourish as be.

She holds dual nationality but has not had a British passport in years.
Obviously, and he does. But he is very unorthodox and extremely right footed, and it seemed to bother loads of posters as to always be banging on about it. His success is because of this, and has not been hindered as one may think. I think what my pal was going on about is that English youth coaches would not have allowed to let him flourish naturally and would have hand cuffed him, so to speak, whereas coaching in Latin America is much more open to quirks and street habits.
