What is everyone's most and least favourite rounds?

My favourite is dizzy heights, least favourite hoarders.
Dizzy Heights or Whirligig for favourite. Don’t like Egg Scramble

Medieval theme to the second season.
Was watching Gamescom last night for this. I can see there being a lot of raging over those moveable platforms.

Who knows, maybe I might finally get a crown in Season 2.

I love this game

the Team rounds are terrible though if you get a crappy team, particularly hoarders

I agree, fortunately I wasn't on that team or I'd have been so annoyed but just done an egg round and the yellow team ended up with 0 eggs. 0.

Had a hoopsie one where it felt like I got a fair chunk of the rings- we lost. Its frustrating if the rings don't spawn

My favourite - The rolling course with sections going in opposite directions with obstacles and gaps in the way. Most of the first round games to be fair.

Worst - I hate the tail/tag games. Also dislike the football game.

Hardest - Tip Toe and Hexagon

Favourite races are Whirlygig and Dizzy Heights because I usually come in the top 3. I never get hit by the windmills now and I seem to be an expert at navigating the green spinning platforms because even if I’m behind at that point I end up zooming past beans. I also like Door Dash know because I worked out how to tell which ones are fake. The jump final and fall mountain are good too because it really only relies on your own skill most of the time.

Worst is hoarders. Easily.

Yes! I was in a hoopsie daisy match where most of my team stayed on one side of the field, we lost by about 20

Hex-a-gone is ridiculously difficult too - I don't even know what the strategy for that is, all I do is run around in circles until I inevitably fall

Jumping is one technique but I always seem to feck it up. If you time it well you will use up the hexagons at a far slower pace.

I tend to try and cut off everyone from my side by making the gap too big and then concentrating on going from the outside in, not wasting a tile. And looking below for where I need to drop down to the next level to make sure I don't go through a hole already there.

I've only won Hex-A-Gone three times I think. Out of about 50 attempts.

Cutting people off is a great idea, I need to remember that for the next time I play.

Also what's the tip for gate crash, how can you tell which doors are fake?

It's only for the last three/four doors but you just hold off and let everyone else guinea pig the first ones. Once the door patterns change and they have the pink triangle at the bottom you can tell the real doors by the teeth being sightly higher. If you look at the image below, the door on the right has bottom teeth ever so slightly higher than the rest. It cuts into that bottom triangle. That is the correct door.

You can also tell during the intro which of the final three is the right door as it will be positioned slightly lower than the other two when the camera pans down to the finish line.

Finally flipping won one! Level 17 I think. Was the last of our group of 4 to win.
Tail grab, had it for 90% of the round then lost it with 10 seconds to go, luckily insta grabbed it back for the win.

Good thing you recovered because that would've been the absolute worst.

I had this in my last Royal Fumble final. Held on to the tail for ages and lost it with 10 seconds to go from a laser grab from miles away. I was already halfway up a ramp and someone who was still at ground level in my game grabbed it. It's why I absolutely despise it as a final round. It's simply broken, server latency turns it into a lottery. I can just about stand the other grab games but as a final round it's a slap in the face to lose in that way.

Is there a trick to working out the final tiles on Tip Toe? I saw on a stream someone say they had worked it out but I didn't catch it.

Fake ones wobble after a bit, but if someone steps on a real tile that is before the edge tiles, you can just run forward to safety. If there's anything more to it I've not heard.

If you get to the last two tiles it’s usually a straight run to the line.

Starting to get fed up of the football, made even worse by the fact I've just been cheated out of a goal. I was in the corner and knocked it, it rolled across the face of the goal and went in off the post. Just watched the replay and it went in. No goal given where's VAR when you need it. We then go on to lose 3-0  feel like you're in touching distance of a final but get denied due to being stuck with a tricky team game- id rather have them early on. Ive saved the ghost goal clip.

Just had a slime climb, im starting to toil my way to the finish line but been struggling with those blocks right at the end that move from side to side, having been knocked off a lot recently.
Anyway manage to finally blunder my way past them only to be met in that corner between them and the balls by some twat wearing a horse head that kept grabbing me and nearly succeeding in pushing me off. Really annoys me when people do that as I just want to qualify. Perhaps on the running games just holding them back or even waiting at the finish line so you can just jump over but not in the middle of slime climb which is an achievement to even get to the end of

My rage inducing moments for this evening so far: Couple of clips if I've done this right (I'm playing on my boyfriends ps4 the embarrassing user name is not mine!)

Horrible horse: (Yes I'm aware I suck at this bit on slime climb but he was being an arse)

Ghost goal: where is VAR?! we then went on to lose 3-0, increasing my dislike of the football game

Clearly handball on the ghost goal.

Their round selection algorithms seem all over the place. Seventeen players left after the third round so instead of doing a semi-final fourth round, we went straight into a 17 player Hex-a-gone final. Why?? Hex-a-gone with anything over 10 players is messy but 17 is just taking the piss. On the other hand I've had episodes where 8 players left resulted in a 4v4 fall ball, leading to a woeful 4 player royal fumble, which is utter garbage, as the arena is just too large for that.

The Hexagon strategy where you just fall straight down to the last one and clear it out is fun, but now there are so many expert hoppers I can’t win with it.

I swear the game hates me!!!

Following yesterday's ghost goal...

Just had royal fumble final. I seized the tail with about 20 seconds left managed to take the opposite route to them and not get trapped in the corner. Timer reaches 0, i have the tail. Nothing happens. We just keep running round. Then get "you've been disconnected from the server" I've had it a few times on the earlier games but when I've possibly won a final to have it happen is infuriating. No idea if I still had the tail in "real time" as I potentially crashed out the game so stopped moving. Thought I'd tricked them all.

Are the servers down? Been stuck looking for players for about 10 mins
Just tried it, I can still get a game.

Edit: I wish I didn't though. I just had a team mate grabbing me and scoring own goals in fall ball. These cnuts should be banned for life.

Apply that ban to those who try and feck up people's runs on difficult levels like slime climb- the latest trend seems to be standing in the middle of the second of those yellow beams so you have to jump over them but often in jumping them you call off, land lying down on the travelator and get carted off into the slime

I just ran into that for the first time last night! The trolls are coordinating.

Its so annoying, its annoying enough when they stand at the end and try and stop you but at least you can bash past them. However deliberately trying to sabotage people ruins the game for me as there's no way past them, I struggle enough at the best of times with slime climb without the added interference of trolls trying to ruin it for people

No, sabotaging competitors is part of the game. Getting others eliminated on slime climb is an excellent way to thin out the pack and give yourself more chances in the final. Sabotaging your own team is another matter entirely, as it ends your own chances as well so doesn't serve any purpose.

@DatIrishFella sorry, saw your message from last night. Was only on briefly to download the other PS+ games. Not been on FG much of late due to binge watching The Wire but I'll be back once finished.

One of the worst starts saved by an absolute banger of a swanton bomb at end

Went on to win the whole thing after that.

I actually won one! Meant to save the video, but exited out because I wanted it to be a bit longer, and that cut off the original video.

Fall Mountain final. Headed up the left, and got super lucky when that last hammer basically launched me up towards the end. Then again when a guy on the opposite side jumped too early.

I’m level 31. It’s taken too bloody long to get this first win. Might retire now actually.
