Thought I'd share this.

I'm sure some of you have come across Stephen Howson on YouTube - a guy whose made a channel of United news and opinion, even if much is clickbait.

He occasionally meets some journalists (Simon Stone in the summer) but I came across his latest interview with Berbatov.
The whole watch is decent but he gives his views on us from 11min30 onwards.

On the transfer situation between us and City, he says City wanted him, he said "thank you and feck off" because he wanted Man Utd. Went on to say "I don't regret my decision. There was something magical about the badge. There still is, I cannot describe it".

Off course. It's nothing strange if he chooses us at that time.

Lovely chap. Too bad it just didn't work out well with him.
I would hardly call him a failure, that's unfair. He won more with us than RVN and had around 1:3 goal ratio that's not bad considering some off the players that have played here.

2x Leagues - He was pivotal in first half of the 10/11 title win.
2x EFL Cups
2x CL Finals

Think he would look back on a very successful time with us to be fair.

For united of that time he's average. His style is too flamboyant for us he's becoming the odd one out.

But still he does his job, and to his credit.

I don’t think Berbatov was off course at all, I think he was spot on!

Why would he choose Mark Hughes over SAF, and City at the time were nobodies. Massive no-brainer for Berba to come to the Red Devils . Why play with Robinho and Stephen Ireland, when we had Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Rio, Evra etc etc etc..
