I’m tempted to take a -4 to put in Martial, as I also have Mount, who’s doubtful. City have some rough games coming up, and I’ve always thought he was likely to get rotated soon.
I got rid of Mount to make enough money for other moves, with a plan to bring him back in soon. Wondering whether to do Cantwell to Maddison or Tielemans now though, meaning I can definitely have a full team out this weekend and move to a 352 once Silva is back.

I got Mount at 6 mil so not worth transferring him out. Cantwell out makes sense though.

I should've mentioned it'll cost me a -4 to do this week, with the benefit of fielding a full team, or free next week.

Because I don't want to make any transfers this week, my decision is:

Lundstram v Spurs (A)
Cantwell v Watford (H)
Rico v Newcastle (A)
Connelly v United (A)

Which one do you think I should select?

Cantwell is apparently a rotation risk now. And you don't rest Lord Lundstram.

I'm going to wildcard, I was thinking of going from this:

gk: Heaton, Patricio
Defence: Van Aanholt, TAA, Robertson, Aaron's, Soyuncu
Midfield: KDB, Mount, Grealish, David Silva, Maddison
Forwards: Firmino, Haller, Abraham

To this:

Gk: Heaton, Patricio
Defence: TAA, Ake, Robertson, Soyuncu, Lundstrum
Midfield: Mount, Grealish, KDB, Pulisic, Grealish
Forwards: Vardy, Jiminez, Abraham

Not being able to have Mane bothers me but I'd have to take a huge drop elsewhere as he's so expensive. Both Grealish and Mount are doubtful and I have 0.7 in the bank but dont think theres anyone suitable, could use an upgrade on Heaton

I figured it might be him you forgot.

No mane though? That's ballsy.
I've tried so many things but cant afford him unless I have one or 2 bits of deadwood, most of my league have Robertson so thought about binning TAA but still cant afford Mane, surprised Salah costs more than him. I could bin KDB but that would mean no City players and feels as wrong as no Mane though he needs to start pulling his finger out he's done nothing lately. Hopefully hattrick v Liverpool Sunday incoming...

Done my transfers. Martial was tempting but United just cannot be trusted and he's not even dead cert on pens. Went for Maddison instead, along with Mousset in for Wilson to facilitate it.

Lundstram v Rico is my dilemma.

Rico has had a couple of cleanies recently, whereas Lundsram we all saw what he's capable of.
Will probably risk a 3rd Rico clean sheet on the bench!

My choice this week is

West Ham keeper to Gazza or

Maupay to King

Having seen Maupay's next 4 games that's probably critical! Should have gone Connolly to at least bank some wad, but that'd still leave a weak forward

Gazza has a strong fixture this week but then about 3 ropey ones..

McGinn is fit and cheaper. Could be a better option

Is it worth swapping Mount for Teilemans?

Seems much of a muchness, except that Mount is injured and Teilemans will play.

How about McGuinn and put some money in the bank?

Mount might play anyway.
Would hold on to Mount.

I’d disagree. I swapped Mount for Tielemans. Mount is open to rotation/rest coupled with his recent ankle injuries and Pulisic and CHO playing more. Tielemans bar injury will always start and their fixtures on paper are stronger than Chelseas.

Abraham vs Vardy for captain?
Now that is a dilemma! I'm switching between both constantly.

FFS poll showing the following;

Best captain for GW12?
Vardy 34.66% (2,656 votes)

Abraham 25.18% (1,929 votes)

Jiménez 5.09% (390 votes)

I guess depends on your position in the league.

Je m'en fous!
It's not as mad as it sounds. Arsenal could pull out a result at Leicester, it would be typical of them when everyone is expecting them to get battered.

Flip a coin.
Arsenal is playing away from home with that defense against a rampant Leicester attack.

There are 3 data points which point towards Leicester.

He's started every PL game this season.

Ederson out of Sunday's match apparently.

Glad I didn't knee jerk out Mount. Got a feeling he will play.

Yes before his recent ankle injuries, Pulisic being an option and CHO back from injury.
Pulisic has been an option all season. He and CHO both play out wide in that system. Mount is the clearly favoured number #10. It's not really debatable.

Of course, whether he's injured or not we don't know. Sounds like a late fitness check, which again implies how important he is to the team.

Barkley is definitely out btw for those thinking he might come in.

Ok I’m confused.

I put Abraham in my team when he was worth 7.6. He’s now worth 7.9 but if I choose to transfer him the game only gives me back 7.6.

Now I also got Greenwood at 4.5. His value has gone down to 4.3. If I sell him surely by the logic of the increases value I should get my 4.5 back. But it only gives me the 4.3?

Why am I punished for a players value going down but not rewarded for it going up?

Who to captain is the biggest decision this week. I'm risking Lundstram on the bench in favour of Tomori. I think Spurs will win comfortably.
Can choose Vardy, Abraham, Mount, Maddison, Martial or Rashford for captain.
At the moment its Rashford. I think we'll win comfortably as well! Maybe that is heart over head though and Vardy/Maddison are a better bet?

I had the same choice and went for Abraham but it's a coin flip.
Yeah, I’ve been flip flopping between the 2 as well but am currently on Abraham.

As Sassy Colin said you only get half their value for price rise. Saying that - I think you should be able to sell Abraham for 7.7 if you did buy him at 7.6
