Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

It's like people have forgotten that he doesn't play as the main striker, doesn't often play 90 and doesn't score that often.

Usually gets a knock and misses loads of games too.

I saw his goal involvement per 90 stat at like 5.30 and went gaga for it, ignoring all else I knew to be true. Deadline day is a bad time to make decisions, for me anyway.

Don't beat yourself up over it, he's a good pick when fit. £5.7m in an attacking team, gets involved in most attacks, good numbers, will start when available, on pens etc. He's a good pick in that sub £6m price bracket. Alternatives are Larsen, Delap, Jimenez, Vardy. He's better than those as long as he stays fit.

He should be in the £6m bracket alongside Evanilson, Wissa and man like Welbz.

Putting the captaincy on a player that is playing in the opening fixture never ends well.

Its a FPL curse that shall not be broken.

I even waited for him to go 0.2 up on price before bringing him in.

So one of two things will happen:

Pedro will blank/get injured or if Pedro miraculously returns, Larsen will return even more.
I'm sorry but

After taking Larsen for a differential 3 weeks back, took him out this week for Cunha.
Scores immediately

It's even worse than I thought. Pedro blanks AND Larsen returns.

I think this is it for me this year, genuinely done with it.
Madness is doing the same stuff.
We've all brought Pedro in and he punished us. To do it again...

I'll only post here of my misfortunes as it makes people laugh and carry on my policing duties but yeah, genuinely done this year. It's just not happening.
Just wait it out till the WC can be played. Your fortunes should change at some point mate.

Larsennn  Need Amad, Solanke and Son to cook something up tomorrow and I can make up some places finally

And here we go again. My team, currently sitting in 3,500,000th place, begins this game week with Ait Nouri conceding three goals in the first 16 minutes (and a Pedro blank).

I feel like a real life manager with his team in the relegation zone just watching his team follow up what felt like the last humiliation with another, actually worse one. Last week I got a score that placed me behind 8,000,000 other managers, thereby setting a new low after plenty of other weeks that felt like rock bottom.

feck this game.

Thankfully I kept JSL

Ait Nouri has been a disaster, all that hype for nothing.

Pedro was the 2nd most transferred player this week so plenty of people in the same boat as well. And Ait Nouri is in your team for attacking returns. He will rarely get a clean sheet.

Who is this Kevin Shade fella?

Three Brentford goals and not a single contribution by Mbeumo. State of him. State of my team. F*ck off.

Are there chaps interested in buying Odegaard? 8.3 is an awful lot but he's started well since he came back

He was down for an assist earlier but it's gone now. What happened?

Big deflection on his cross apparently. So says the BBC text commentary.

"Yoane Wissa does brilliantly well to steer the ball away from trouble in a crowded penalty area and shift it across for Bryan Mbeumo, who fizzes one across but it's deflected out to Kevin Schade."

Wasn't really hoping to be on -3 points at this stage of the weekend!
