Looked a Bruno assist, or do I need to watch it again? Praying he keeps it for selfish reasons!
Only seen one replay but looked like the Leicester player kicked it away before Bruno touched it.
Sky showing a super slo mo replay to try to take it off him pissed me off. I think he possibly touched it again after it came off the Leicester player but that could be wishful thinking.

For some unbeknown reason I prioritised GW30 over a blank GW and paid a 140k rank price!

During this international break, I need to replace my backup keeper, Dubravka, who's made way for a fit Pope. Plus, I foolishly picked up Phil Foden in order to get funds for Haaland. By GW 31 I want to find a better option and Foden, who rarely starts nowadays.
Now I've got to watch the 'Medicine Show' video by Big Audio DynamiteTell it to the judge.
I knew I had to take Bruno for Palmer this week. Didn't do it because whoever I take, turns into absolute shit.
I have my priorities sorted out.

Any suggestions on how to use my remaining wild cards? I still have BB, AM and FH left. Second in my league, I reckon my mate in 1st only has his FH remaning.

83 points thanks to that Bruno cap and a healthy 171 pts lead over my ML rival along with a good win over Leicester. It’s been a good GW and a satisfying international break to look forward too
I think this is the first time I have reached the summit of our mini-league.
Notched 71, thank you captain Bruno. Been an absolute legend since I brought him in 4 weeks ago.
Back into the top 100k for the first time in a while, good haul considering I had Greaves contributing 0 and playing with 10 due to Palmer's absence. Double Arsenal clean sheet, Wissa and Mbeumo also contributing.
Did say ahead of the deadline I thought about Milenkovic over Ait Nouri so could have been even better but that would be greedy.
No idea what chip stratrgy is now, got FH, WC and BB remaining. A little while to figure it all out I uuppose. Any suggestions/what's everyone esle doing from now on?

One thing I’ve done this season is ignore all the FPL ‘expert’ YouTubers and just done my own thing. I’m not sure any of them ‘recommended’ Bruno as captain this week against the worst form team in the league.
Have also had Mbeumo in since day 1, he wasn’t in any of their pre-season teams and he’s been ticking along nicely.
Still have FH and WC left. No doubt I’ll find some way to mess it up.

I watch Harry and Raptor but I don't often follow their choices. I believe your decision to avoid the influencers is a smart way of going about things. Neither Harry or Raptor (Ross) recommended Bruno.
Wildcard activated. No reason to keep 2/3 of this squad and I already know I'm playing AM on Glasner in 31.

I have £12.3m in the bank, looks like Haaland for the first time this season.

Just a little FYI to everyone like me who usually makes this mistake. DON'T make changes till AFTER the international break
Not having Haaland this season is not really a shocker. On the other hand, if she never had Salah, that is news.

When wildcarding in GW31, is it best to use FH in 33 for an maximum number of games targeted, or in 34 so that you don't have to worry about the blank GW in your WC and can just target any players?
Previously was thinking about WC GW31, BB GW33, FH GW34.

If there are many doubles in 33 I’ll be tempted to WC31, TC32, BB33, FH34.
Yeah that's what I'm aiming for minus the TC which I've already played. Even if it's just a few doubles in 33, I can set my team up a lot better for that one with the WC two weeks before than for GW36 even if there's more doubles in that week.
Same logic here. And when we WC31 we should have full information on who doubles in 33.
I think you're gonna have to compromise on your wildcard/bb if you don't use FH in 34.
For me the strategy is wildcard to load up on dgw players and use the FH in 34 to navigate any blanks.
I also have AM to use so my actual strategy is WC now (already activated) and set the team with 3 Newcastle, 2 Palace and all the FA Cup semi final doublers, AM in 31 on Glasner, FH in 34 and if there is another double in 36 then hopefully have enough transfers built up to get out a decent BB.
The only other option I'm considering is swapping BB and AM around a bit so I play BB in 33 and AM in the run in but that will almost certainly mean 4 gw's instead of 5 from the AM chip and I need to weigh up if the BB in 33 would make up that difference.

Can you leave him out of a WC draft if you're doing that ahead of GW30? He still has home games against Utd, Everton, Brentford and Leicester coming up in their next 7 games.
I have him and was gonna hold off on WC until GW31... Might have to take another look and check if that still makes sense.
