I just think that Hibcapie and even Skelly will get their minutes but these two will play every single game.
Gvardiol for me. Had to make the move due to 4 Arsenal originally.
Wanted Gabriel, Calafiori and Tzolis from the start but when they were in for Konsa couldn't resist picking him up cheaply before the deal was confirmed. Something had to give when making my first transfers.
Konsa still seems too cheap to ignore, still like the idea of Tzolis at the price too even after tonight. It's whether or not Gabriel was the right one to keep over Calafiori. At the moment it's looking a possible regret but only time will tell.
That 2.5m difference was a lot, I had Gabriel scoring about 4.5 more points than Cala over the first 7 weeks or so and even if that's were how things were turning out it's questionable. Now that Calafiori has started off scoring more it's a bit worrisome. We'll see how it all works out, plenty of time for Gabriel to catch up but wondering if I might have bagged the difference in cash and spent it elsewhere.
Feels awkwardl selling Mbeumo and Calafiori before playing and they have the weeks they've had even if I've got Gvardiol and Cherki in now.

Imo Foden is more of a sure thing than Cherki at the moment. Haven't watched any of City's two games though, is Cherki playing more advanced / more threatening than Foden?
Think I'm going both for the next game and then turning one of them into Palmer the week after.

Tzolis could be benched next week sure, but he did great in preseason and first game of the season and faces a leaky Chelsea defence.... Not sure i want to sub him out just yet, not unless the rotation noise creeps up closer to deadline.... although a move to Elanga looks tempting

Yeah same, I'm considering a wildcard in 4 to get rid of him and a few others who might drop in value. I might've got lucky with including Konsa in my starting team if Mosquera's injury keeps him out, it should make him a viable option sooner than expected.
Caicedo was my worst pick but I got him out before the price drop. Le Fee's probably the worst player remaining but I'll probably give it one more week before getting rid. Luckily I got a really good score this week, otherwise the wildcard probably would've been hit already.

I'll sell Gabriel to Gvardiol to fund Ndiaye to Cherki this week. Then next week I'll decide which Arsenal defender to bring in for Maguire.
Luckily no so I'm not transfer locked. It's either WC and then get to international break with no more transfers being made (hope on no injuries etc) or take a -4 to make 3 transfers and hope to keep hold of WC until international break.

Why people go Wirtz over Szobo? Makes no sense. Szobo is cheaper, on ALL set pieces, defcons, playing 90 minutes....
Don't get that either. Wirtz might have a slightly higher chance to score but that's already evened out with Szoboszlai seemingly being on penalties, yeah. No brainer for me, he'll be a mainstay in my team for the entire season.
I have the urge to WC this GW but it doesn't really make all that much sense with my team fairly balanced and Chelsea playing away to Arsenal. City FOMO will be big but hopefully Semenyo and one of Foden/Cherki is enough cover, just gotta hope Haaland doesn't go crazy and the triple captainers don't punish me.
Definitely Palmer and/or Rogers in for GW4 and perhaps onwards as well, and then WC somewhere after the international break.
Why go any Liverpool players at the moment is an even better question. I think there's a few of us who had no idea Szob would be on pens. I thought it would be Isak personally. Have to stick with what you have for the next game against Ipswich and hope it pays off.

Yeah same, I have Isak but can't bring myself to sell him before Ipswich, feels like a losing move.
Because everyone thought Isak will be on penalties, and frankly he could still be, 100th minute Newcastle away could’ve been too much pressure. Szoboszlai is good at many things and not great at any in terms of FPL, Wirtz had ok 2nd half of the season scored few goals in preseason and from lfc observers said before start of the season is playing like a 2nd forward behind Isak. He had a goal disallowed last game an had an assist and against Newcastle had some chances. He is playing the role of Krupi Jr in Iraola system so there will be Planty of Opportunity for him to make regular points. Unless Szoboszlai is 1st penalty taker for real I would not change Wirtz for him from two games a have seen already. Maybe go to another player from another team. Also all the YT guys and FPL influencers said they would pick up Wirtz but didn’t have money so they went Szobo. I did not go Haaland and not gonna, at least for now so I have money to pick up more expensive players.
