Salah is the only player who has returned consistently this year (barring Haaland). Glad I listened to my gut and kept him.

Turner and Pickford, the two biggest pieces of turd in goal since Ward and Iversen last year.

I have Onana who is worse than both.
This. I'm seriously contemplating bringing one of Foster or Amdouni as I don't think we will keep a CS with the kind of form we are in.

Any thoughts on this wildcard draft?

Turner - Areola
Colwill Udogie Cash ( Kabore, Beyer)
Salah Rashford Maddison Mitoma Saka
Wissa Haaland Edouard

I actually don't feel like I must play my WC I just have a lot of players I want to get rid of such as Bruno Watkins and Pedro. Also feel like Salah is back to being essential especially with his upcoming fixtures.

Breaks my heart but I'm getting rid of Bruno...he's been a fixture in my team since he joined. But we're just too shit right now to justify any United players

After a shocking start my WC worked out ok-ish with 50pts. Spurs fecked me but got lucky bringing Edouard in last minute for Ferguson as I knew he wouldn't start.

Currently on 274 so I've a lot of catching up to do.

Not before Burnley. We could have Mount and Varane back by next week. Amrabat is also a possibility.

I’d go for Botman in defence, cheap and a good way in to Newcastle defence who have a good run

Yeah really starting to look like mistake taking him out hoping that he was off to Saudi.

As I've burnt my wildcard I'm gonna have to slowly build to getting him back in for GW9.

Chilwell > Andersen (GW7)
Sterling > Diaby (GW9
Son > Salah (GW9)

works but only if the prices don't change up until then. Unlikely as Sterling will probably take a drop for sure.

Problem is nobody else in that Liverpool attack is really staking a claim are they.

On the other hand...

Fair point.
Yeah but they all had different fixture difficulty so far so someone like Sterling should be doing much better given the fixtures he's had, and now Salah is heading into a great fixture run at least after the Brighton game. I'm not ripping my team apart for him just yet and will get him on the WC, but he's likely gonna increase the gap in the coming weeks. He's returning for fun without actually going full throttle and playing more as a creator, but he's always in great positions and those assists can turn into goals any moment. I have a gut feeling he puts a couple past west ham at Anfield.

I did that calculator that tells you how many points you would have if you hadn't changed your lineup/captain from gw1, and made no transfers.

1 point. I am 1 point better off, having made 5 transfers.

So same as Sterling and Son last two GWs. Cool.
Yup. This is when Pep roulette strikes I guess. I will look at some other transfer. Everyone will have him now. FOMO made me get in Udogie, Maddison and Son on a WC for GW5 and all 3 utterly failed. Don't want to fall in the same trap again.

I would've been on 312 but sitting on 297 right now so lost 15 points from transfers

@Dirty Schwein what £4m Luton defender is best bet for the double? Kabore? Andersen?

Need to downgrade Chilwell next week for operation Mo in gw9.
I would say:

Kabore then Andersen then Bell.

Kabore is the biggest minutes risk from them but he also has the highest upside in terms of attacking returns as he is a WB. He is young so will get minutes managed, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as he can come off beofre we concede.

Just know that once our entire backline injury free... none of them are certainties.

Cheers. Yeah it's just a one off for GW7 so not bothered if they never play another game after that as will probably sit last on my bench.

I transfered in Onana this GW. I was always hesitant when people were talking up our chances against Arsenal, Spurs and Brighton. Spurs looked incredible pre-season and Brighton are close to a top four side. The first 5 were never going to be easy for us.

I'm more confident about our fixture run now -> December basically.

I'm not in a rush to sell him using transfers but I doubt he will survive my WC. Let's not forget he costs more than other keepers who are possibly better value.
