Fantasy Premier League 25/26

I think if you have all your chips left, you could play it right after your WC so you have a good bench that you won’t need to hold for weeks. So maybe WC 35 and BB 36?

I think FH is the best for 33 now because I wouldn’t want to be holding triple Chelsea and Brighton after that, no matter what their fixtures are.
I don't have a wildcard left.

Well that's complicated.

Not this week due to Maguire's suspension and not being able to move him out if you have 0 Fts. No point in playing it with 14 available players.

FH 33 like you said.

Not enough players to make 34 BB worth it as you're scratching around for 11 starters.

So it has to be some time between 35 and 38. Haaland very likely to have a double in 36 as they still have that Palace fixture to squeeze in and it's probably going to be then according to Ben Crellin and other people's guesses. Use TC then? That is my plan. If you agree leaves 35, 37 and 38. Not sure FA Cup finalists will be doubling as it could be played midweek still in 37 but let's wait and see.

37 looks alright with that current squad, and in general was thinking you might want to push it back until late anyway considering your circumstances.

Sanchez - TOT H
Dubravka - ARS A
Gabriel - BUR H
Kayode - CRY H
Mukiele - EVE A
Gudmundsson - BHA H
Maguire - NFO H
Bruno - NFO H
Palmer - TOT H
Gordon - WHU H
Rogers - LIV H
Mainoo - NFO H
Haaland - BOU A
Welbeck - LEE A
Thiago - CRY H

Lots of home games for players. Of those who are away, it doesn't matter where Haaland's game is, leaving only Dubravka, Mukiele and Welbeck. Leeds away for Welbeck and Everton away for Mukiele isn't awful, and you might have transferred one of them out by then anyway which brings us to Dubravka. He could be the 'keeper you transfer out in 34, finding someone who rotates well with Sanchez and has a much better GW37 fixture?

If you still have Dubravka by 37 and chose to transfer out Sanchez instead in 34 then I wouldn't want to BB with him away at Arsenal. In that case using BB with Dubravka at home to Wolves in 38 is probably his best chance of a clean sheet for him personally. Thinking 37 might be better for you though as some of these fixtures arte not great for quite a few of your players.

GW 38
Raya - CRY A (just an example, you can afford him but could be anyone)
Dubravka - WOL H
Gabriel - CRY A
Kayode - LIV A
Mukiele - CHE H
Gudmundsson - WHU A
Maguire - BHA A
Bruno - BHA A
Palmer - SUN A
Gordon - FUL A
Rogers - MCI A
Mainoo - BHA A
Haaland - AVL A
Welbeck - MUN H
Thiago - LIV A

You have a lot more players away that week and/or facing teams towards the top of the table. Obviously there's transfers that can be made to change things before then but I currently like 37 for you and either way pushing it right back to one of the final 2 weeks is what I think I'd do in your shoes.
Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to break down my player's fixtures in detail. I'll keep the BB until 37.

No problem, I don't love having 2 fairly expensive 'keepers in the squad should you sell Dubrvaka in 34 and BB in 37 but I'd really want to avoid using Dubravka in a bench boost away at Arsenal, and a fair number of the fixtures for your players in 38 don't look great to be using the BB chip on that week anyway as already stated. You can afford two relatively pricey goalies too with the 3.8m in the bank.

So someone who will play in 34 and has a solid 37 if using BB that week. Perhaps as a bonus someone with a better 36 than Sanchez too as he is away at Liverpool then. A bit early to look into it all, early thoughts anyway:

I would have said Lammens as he seems to have decent fixtures in those 3 weeks (34, 36 & 37) but you already have 3 players from United. He's got Brentford home, Sunderland away, Forest home those weeks. 34 and 37 good, 36 probably better than Sanchez at Anfield.

Leno not bad. Villa home in 34, Wolves away in 37. 36 is Bournemouth at home, arguably better than Sanchez that week.

Pickford? Plays in 34 now that Leeds have won against West Ham in the cup. West Ham away in 34, Palace away in 36, Sunderland home in 37. Two away but I think Everton have been better away from home anyway. Expensive though.

Could do something a bit crazy and bring in Raya for Dubravka, you can afford it. Plays in 34 at home to Newcastle, Arsenal the best defence in the league, probably use him every week including in 36 away at West Ham while Sanchez is at Liverpool, BB with him at home to Burnley in 37 and Sanchez at home to Spurs. Highly unorthadox move considering the price of the 2 goalies you'd have but it could be a case of why not by then.

Maybe some other options will look good by then too. See what emerges by the time 34 comes around.

Once again - much appreciated. Dubravka > Raya will probably be my move, as I wasn't saving the funds for anyone special. There's not many GWs left, so having a 4.8m Sanchez on my bench doesn't bother me. Plus, I'm top of my leagues and most of my rivals have Raya and Gabriel, so if I were to also double up on Arsenal defenders then that would cover my back in the run-in.

If you had a free transfer, with a wildcard to come soon i'd say get 11, but as you have 0 FT, probably do stick.

Will also be interested in the best 4 chips left with 7 game weeks to go approach.

But you normally want to do a WC/BB over 2 consecutive weeks to ensure you will get all 15 players playing and the 4 bench boys are worthwhile!

But Free hit week 34 seems to be the play as could be 6-8 teams without a game and bound to include Arsenal and City - so you wouldn't want a WC/BB without any of those,
Now the DGW is confirmed, I’m stuck with what to do with all my chips left!

Real head scratcher.

Raya
Dubravka (Doubles)

Gabriel
Virgil
Dalot
Van Hecke (Doubles)
Guehi (Doubles)

Rogers
Dango
Anderson
Wilson
Salah

Ekitike
Watkins
Thiago

I have all chips left to play. I didn’t really want to wildcard but I feel I’ve missed the fact until recently that there will be a big DGW in 33.
Currently, only three doublers - one being Burnley GK which isn’t one to gloat about.

No doubt would have planned for Haaland in for Ekitike and Semenyo in for Salah. Still leaves me with a single FT to make.

I’m guessing the general consensus with my shitshow of a team is probably to WC now ahead of 32, BB 33, FH 34, and TC 36? I suppose by WC I keep the 3 FTs I have to put out fires needed post FH 34?

All the DGW 33 teams have meh games in GW32. Making the WC32 and BB33 a slightly dodgy strategy, if I stuff the team with Chelsea, City, Bournmouth and Brighton players.

Just looked at my team. With the ongoing Arse bottle job, there's less reason for me to WC32.

I'm gonna roll into GW32 and FH33. Probably WC in GW35 and then decide where to TC and BB.

I already have Semenyo and not sure I want to bring Rice back in. Could possibly go for Cas but don't want two United midfielders.

A Brighton mid is ideal really with Burnley this weekend and then a double but I have no idea who (if any) would be nailed. Groß looks best for minutes but he's a bit meh. Mitoma or Minteh spicier picks but less secure. Hinshelwood at #10?

Agree, been looking at wc drafts and the teams for 32 look shite, it doesn't seem worth it.

Think I’m going WC this week but with a plan to have as many DGW players in it as possible - not a great selection IMO

So, WC now. BB next week for the doubles and then FH for GW34

TC whenever

Arsenal going out to Southampton has probably helped us non wild carder's.

I was always going to FH in 34 but I think 33 might now be the better option.

TC 36 likely.
On what team?

I activated my WC at the start of this GW and haven't really thought about what I'm actually doing.

Current draft is:

Pickford, Dubravka
Lewis-Potter (likely to go), Kadioglu, Gabriel, Truffert, O'Reilly
Bruno, Semenyo, Gordon (not sure why), Sarr, Wilson
Haaland, Welbeck, Tiago

I like my front 3 and fine with keepers but midfield and defence doesn't seem right. Will look into it properly on Friday.

Supposedly City and Palace likely to double, so probably Haaland.

Regarding your team, it looks solid but you could maximise it further by focussing on DG33 players only and then bench boosting. Ill have every player bar Bruno doubling in GW33 using bench boost. Then FH 34, and then each week brining in arsenal players til end of the season. Depending how desperate i am for a player id consider a -4 along the way too.

I'm on the WC this week - and ye I'm going to load up on the Doublers even if every year I get stung by rotation and Single players outscoring

Arsenal's loss at Soton has been great for FPL purposes, the template WC32-BB33-FH34 that was raved about by all the Twitter folks suddenly isn't that interesting anymore imo. Especially as someone who has already used his WC and is sitting on a very nice GW32 team, it's great to see.

I can field an entire team in BGW34 with my current team, so FH in DGW33 is the obvious choice for me.

I have two free transfers.
I will roll this week (GW32).
On GW33 I will play FH.

How many transfers will I have going into GW34? It would be 3 right? Such a noob question but I genuinely can't remember the rules here.

Considering getting rid of Ekitike, I have a feeling his minutes will be massively managed for the exact period I need him in.

Yeah you basically won't get a FT for the FH week but will keep what you already had in the bank plus the transfer for the new week. Is my understanding anyway.

Enzo > Semenyo for me. Pretty much checked out this season. Is it just me or has there been even more long breaks between weeks than usual?

I will make one last effort to win some cash when our cash league cup starts by taking massive hits the week before to position my team as well as possible to use the remaining chips.

Thanks. It's the usual breaks but this previous break was longer than any we've had before (barring COVID).

Are Grob and Minteh on yellow cards or something? Many forums are suggesting Hinshelwood as the Brighton midfield choice.

2 yellow cards for Minteh, so no. He’s my preferred choice too. Him and Calwert Lewin and freehit in gw34. Seems like a good broad palette of options if one don’t fire and both have good fixtures.
