Fantasy Premier League 25/26

40th in my work league at the moment

Quickly checked 39th to about 13th and only 3 didn't have Semenyo. I'll assume the top 12 all have him.

To still be active and missed a player going up 0.8m and scoring plenty would be a real oversight.

I actually peered onto a couple of my mini leagues and saw a few teams didnt have Semenyo so you're right :lol:

I just thought him and Senesi are no brainers at this point!
 
I took Salah out for Semenyo. I've taken a hit in terms of not using all my budget but glad I did it because of those points.
 
Seeing my rival in my league captained Semenyo has dampened my initial joy. Just got to hope Haaland gets a similar return.

I refuse to buy him now cause he’s too main stream. Where’s the fun if everyone has the same players? :)
I fecking hope he flops from now on in though :lol:
 
Can't really get too excited about the Semenyo haul as most serious managers have him now. The real test is was anyone mad enough to captain him?
 
Anyone who captained Semenyo deserves a standing ovation, not many beat the opening game captain jinx.

There are definitely a few WCers who decided there was no point following the crowd, so I would definitely rather have him than not!

That Ghandi image about "never back the opening game of the Gameweek" had me cowardishly move the C from him to Haaland. And now I regret it.

Not much impact for me either although it's always fun to watch your player do well. Sort of a relief too that you do have him. The 5 points he got for each goal gaining just 0.2 against the field of other players at similar rank.

Helped me jump from 210k to 160k, a fair bit of that from having Senesi playing too. Lots only had Semenyo out there, although there were bits and pieces for Andersen and Truffert too. Throw in the odd Semenyo capper that would have stopped me gaining more.

Part of the happiness is that he's sure to go up in price too. Nobody looking to sell currently of course, just insurance in case of injury, suspension or a big drop off in form. Love to see that value increase.

Yes, great shout to whoever did! Was probably about 4th on my list. Thinking that Salah teams might have found the route to cap him a little more often than Haaland ones. Chelsea away being tougher on paper than Brentford away. Anyone with Haaland who capped him was particularly impressive.

Some strange goings on in general so far this season, a lot of people with proven track records of doing great in FPL were struggling early on. Content creators following FPL Review's algo in the shitter too which was fun. This person perhaps not the most engaged of players was doing great. Think they've wrecked it now though. :(

Grealish, Salah, Bruno, Semenyo
Ekitike, Joao Pedro, Strand Larsen

Sanchez, Reijnders, Esteve, Porro on bench.
 
Richarlison on the bench. Was expecting it, so sold him for Gyokeres. But have a feeling Gyokeres won't start too.

Was confident Richarlison won't start. Wasn't sure about Gyokeres, but I had no other striker to go to apart from Woltemade who I didn't like his minutes. Anyway Gyokeres starts!
 
Yeah Richarlison was a terrible punt. Could've been rocking double Arsenal this week but just couldn't help myself.

Dorgu is a bum pick as well.
 
I wish there were some sort of “card”, that was “wild”, so to speak. One that would let me change my whole team….again.
 
Great start to the week with Kudus & Semenyo (I also have VDV but we will forget about him!)

Told you all about Richarlison. From all these attack options, why go for him?
Also; only United player who is worth it is Mbeumo. Guy is just stat merchant.

Having said that; why i picked this big Arsenal lump, ffs? 9 fecking mil.

He was a decent punt being in form and had 2 or 3 good fixtures at the price point of 6.7? Not huge options that cheap.

However, all of us knew it'd be a short punt so left money to upgrade soon.

Yep staying with Dorgu on a wildcard was a bad call. Especially as United have an odd tendency to leave him out for the lesser opponent home games!
