What an awful two weeks. Had a couple of 50/50’s on captain choices and transfers that went the wrong way and I’ve gone from leading mini leagues by 20 points to 40 points off top.
Wildcard activated and I’m getting rid of some of these cnuts right away.

Only issue is with 5 extra transfers ahead of GW16 due to AFCON I don’t feel like waiting too long with first wildcard makes any real sense, on the other hand I’d maybe do 4-5 transfers if I were to use it now… might still be worth it I guess.
Is Sesko an Option? Thinking of bringing him in. I dont think our fixture run is to bad and he seems nailed now.
Only worry would be at Anfield he could go with Cunha over him.
Nah we've two complete weeks of Training in front of us for Mount to get injured.
Jokes aside, could either bench Sesko for Pool away or buy him after. Or just get Bowen. Which would be the rational thing to do anyway.

Another good week (except bloody strikers). Haaland- Pedro- Gyokeres attack looked awesome on paper. In reality....Gyokeres is one big lump and Pedro is a fraud.
Distinctly average so far compared to the crowd. Safety score of 54, on a 53 plus a 10 point bench boost up to now. Still got a couple left.
Reijnders - as a bench boost sub, I know order doesn't really matter here, but I would have benched him so can 100% judge the bench boost chip. Was looking at 13-14 points from the bench as forecasted so need 3 or 4 from him for it to be a completely average bench boost to go with everything else that has been fairly average so far.
Haaland - captain.

Considering Chelsea's fixtures, I'm thinking of bringing in Pedro for Mateta.

Yeah, Salah is history. Luckily i ditched him on wildcard (just in time when he started blanking).

Reijnders subbed off, gameweek over for all intents and purposes. Almost the entire world on captain Haaland.
Not sure there's much to do over the international break for my lot.

Cash isn't playing again, Andersen likely coming in but not until GW10. Pre-planned. Would have been nice to be able to go double Arsenal defence instead, but that's 2 transfers for a hit. Gyokeres disappointing but fixtures still good and he was bought for this run. Eze notching points here and there is ok.
Pedro similar to Gyok - good fixture run incoming. No huge need to jettison although I suppose I could tinker.
Could perhaps do something with Gakpo but I don't know who I'd move to. Would consider a punt on Mbeumo but Anfield next. Can't afford or fit Saka in due to triple Arsenal already. Loads of mid-priced options, almost paralysed by choice and none of them seem absolute must-haves over the others. Might hold Gakpo for a few more weeks here, could possibly get Palmer when he's back by downgrading a forward by then and doing a double-switch.
Edit: Guess upgrading Reijnders is an option for one of the same guys I might have looked at to replace Gakpo (Ndiaye, Grealish, Paqueta, Kudus, Enzo, Caicedo etc.), but that's benching headaches and I wanted to get away from those. Suppose ditching the Cash > Andersen plan might be on too, to bring in a non-Arsenal premium at the back. Someone like Gvardiol or maybe Newcastle.
Not sure there's much to do over the international break for my lot.

Minteh disappointed but Gvardiol more than delivered, finishing on 90 points which even in a high scoring weekend still feels good.
Waiting on Gabriel proved costly at the end. After those Semenyo points, things were looking up. But got absolutely destroyed by the defense all blanking.

Already turfed out Gyok for Woltemade though. Pens are a big deal, seems a no brainier for 1.8m less.

I am sticking with Gyokeres. Arsenal is dominating games, Gyok is playing 90 minutes every game. He will score.
