Not sure where the love for Martin Jol comes from. He wasn't even there when they won the 08 League Cup, was he?

I thought he was good for them, treated very harshly in the end, just missed out on CL in a tough environment that was dominated by 3 or 4 teams.

Dembele was a superb midfielder, they were never the same after he left. Should have played for Utd. He was so bloody good to watch.

Yeah, fantastic player, him and Eriksen should have been top of Utd's in 2012.

Spurs fans can be brutal.

I don’t think it’s brutal to be fair. Spurs have always had a very direct no nonsense fanbase. If they don’t like something or the club is failing they don’t sit there with false adoration. They got on Conte, Nuno etc fairly quickly too even as far back as Santini. If you go there and stink up the place with your football they’ll let you know. Good on them I say.

Arsenal fan tv could be a fun watch if they bottle it to this Tottenham team next weekend

Didn't even know he was in management. Just remember him being a real substandard player for Juve.

He was already Juventus manager 2 times.

He's a talented manager but a hot head and usually doesnt stay long at any club. I give him about 2 months at Spurs.

Massive injury crisis and Igor Tudor ...

Unless they start getting every var call going for them loads of penalties and opponents sent off.

Decent chance they'll be relegated if Forest and West Ham sort themselves out

It would've been hilarious if they bottled it against Brentford, Sean Dyche and Igor Tudor football in consecutive weeks. They also play such a shit brand of football that this would've thrown them into a tail spin -- have to justify what they do but still complain about the opponents.

Forest being Forest spoiled that party.

Know nothing about their new manager but seemingly a quick turnaround to get him in.

Very strange decision - he has never really done well as a manager apart from at Marseille 3-4 years ago....

10 wins in 24 at Juve really isn't great

Had 11 jobs in management and his longest stint by far is a year and a bit at his first club.

At least the timeframe of an interim job should suit him...

Could have sworn Tudor played for West Ham at some point but nothing on wiki about that.

Think I got him mixed up with Igor Stimac but Bilic as a fellow Croatian could have been part of it too.

Great player for Spurs and England. They paid a huge fee for back then when they bought him from Southampton. He scored two against us in the FA Cup just after they signed him. RIP.

Before my time, but one of those early to mid-70s Spurs-players you have heard a lot about - him, Jennings, Perryman, Armstrong are the ones that immediately spring to mind

Cannot help but want them to get relegated. Used to have a few clubs I liked other than us that I'd go for if we weren't playing: Everton, Forest, and also, sometimes Spurs (this is the 00s).

I have no problem with the first two, but for some reason I fecking hate Spurs these days.

I see. I'm really out of touch with European football.

I used to buy him all the time on one of the old Championship Managers
Abit of a bargain I seem to recall.

I think it’s a north London thing. I actually would prefer Arsenal to win the league over City but their fans are so obnoxious at times that it’s hard to wish them well, despite me respecting their great history. Spurs are the same: even when their club was like 4th or 5th in the table they’d boo their players off after a bad result. Good history and all but unlikeable.
