Road House (1989)
Patrick Swayze plays a legendary (legendary, I tell you) midwestern bouncer who must overcome the ultimate challenge of gentrifying a bar filled with white trash.
He is also an expert martial artist, buddhist, has a degree in philosophy from NYU (which makes him a deep thinker, as shown in multiple scenes) and motivational speaker. If he has a flaw, it must be that he's almost too powerful and deep. Also, he drives a Mercedes, a sign of fine European taste. You could say he is a God amonst men.
Must watch, 10/10.
