WSL Cup - now called the "Subway Players Cup" switches to a new format this season. Teams playing in Europe won't take part in the WSL Cup at all now. This season that means that Chelsea, Arsenal and City are missing. This means that the Cup will get a brand new winner as only those three have previously won it.
The rest of us are in a combined league with the rest of WSL1 and WSL2. Similar idea to the CL structure. We'll play 6 games against 6 different teams - 3 home, 3 away. Top 8 in the League will qualify for the QFs.
3 points for a win. Match will go to penalties if it's a draw after 90 minutes - 2 points will then go to the shootout winner, 1 point to the shootout loser.

It’s probably a good thing to have LCL away as our first fixture. With all the new signings they’ve made, hopefully it’ll take a while for them to gel as a team, like it did for them last season. I don’t think we’ll have that same problem!
If we don’t win though, it doesn’t bode well for the Chelsea / Arsenal games.

Could very well be three matches and zero points.
Not optimistic about the coming season. But maybe it's necessary and for the best in the long run, so we might actually get a better coaching set-up and invest more money in to the side.
