Patrick Dorgu numbers but nobody truly gives a feck if he flops since he plays for Liverpool

No sensationalist weekly features or character attacks from the likes of Souness of Carragher

You won't hear a peep about his £380k/w wages either in the media I reckon...God he is WANK
The scary thing about all these talents who made their names in Bundesliga is that once they did bad in PL they couldnt even reach the same heights in Bundesliga anymore
Capology has him on 200k fixed and 50k possible bonuses per week. Where is your 380k number coming from? You won't hear a peep about his £380k/w wages either in the media I reckon...

From somewhere more realistic, I’d say. No way he is on that little money. Unless we’re talking net wages.Capology has him on 200k fixed and 50k possible bonuses per week. Where is your 380k number coming from?
Liverpool have been known to peddle this narrative that they spend only paltry figures on wages. Their financials show a different picture. Normally, actual wages there are about 30-40% more than what's reported, so I'm guessing ~350k.From somewhere more realistic, I’d say. No way he is on that little money. Unless we’re talking net wages.

Will Always Never... KaloneGod he is WANK
I stopped arguing about it, but to me there is zero chance he is on "only" 200k pw. That's less than Bayern's bench options make, but that also speaks volumes about Bayern...From somewhere more realistic, I’d say. No way he is on that little money. Unless we’re talking net wages.

Florian Wirtz - B
Wirtz demonstrated glimpses of the reasons Liverpool parted with £116m to sign him last summer - but was not close to the level expected of a player regarded as one of the world's top talents.
He will know his productivity must improve after just seven goals and eight assists - and not one of those was against a side that finished in the top half of the league.
Liverpool will hope a season adapting to life in England and building his physicality will lead to the 23-year-old providing a consistent threat next season in the same way a similar player, Robert Pires, did after a slow start at Arsenal.
His fine performance against a physical Sunderland side on a filthy night in the north east demonstrated what he can do and how he can make Liverpool a better side.
One of the challenges for Slot, assuming he remains in charge, is to decide whether he is best playing off the left or in the number 10 role and to set the side up so it extracts the sort of creativity he displayed so often at Bayer Leverkusen.
It is a B mark that could easily have been a C.

Wish I had examiners like this for my GCSEsB???

The media protection of him this year has been sickeninghttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cy0222wlqpqo

I looked him up and he is a graduate of the daily mail trainee scheme. Explains a lot. That's a woeful article on every level. Keep that guy in local press.
Remember the shit they gave Pogba while being twice the playerA B rating
If he'd signed for Utd and had the same season here, no goals or assists against a top half side, he'd be getting absolutely slaughtered in the press. It would be a D grade at minimum.
The pressure at Utd seriously is unlike anything else in the PL.

A Liverpool fan that’s extremely bias and not self aware enough to hide it.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cy0222wlqpqo

Was going to post this article as a separate thread. Some serious backhanders from Liverpool to their media chums for this piece of "analysis" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cy0222wlqpqoYou won't hear a peep about his £380k/w wages either in the media I reckon...

Im sure he’ll improve but I don’t see him justifying his price tag . Could be wrong obviously. I’ve just seen too many of these transfer at United over the years and it’s rare players live up to them high prices.Very underwhelming first season, albeit with a few extenuating circumstances, most notably playing in a poor team with no real wingers and out of position most of the time.
I still think he'll come good , but maybe that's just me being biased.
I’d love to know what this “plan” was that Slot apparently sold him in the summer because unless we're going to change system and play with him as a 10 next season, he won't ever come close to justifying his fee.

Yeah. The fact he included the line about the top half of the league is deliberately misleading. Classic Scousery. This quote is funny, because it kind of implies that he has seven goals and eight assists in the league, which he absolutely doesn't.
He is joint 65th in the league for assists on 3. Along side AmadAh. Well it caught me out. Because I was thinking those numbers are actually not bad?! What did he get in the league?
Does he have any league goals? Seem to remember at least one.He is joint 65th in the league for assists on 3. Along side Amad
