Well, it is documented that Mbappe's defensive work rate is poor. But there's no comparison between them as players. Mbappe is arguably the best player in the world. If you tried to claim that Wirtz was (even arguably) the best player in the world, you'd be sectioned.

I remember the Rashford one, but not this Martial one. I loved Martial and injuries ruined him but Messi was the best in the world from before Martial joined. Then again, I have seen numerous United fans turn their noses up at the chances of having genuine elite talent like Neymar, Mbappe and Messi previously but sing jokers like Van de Beek's name so I shouldn't be shocked.
Why, when they play on opposite wings?
It was after Martials debut season when he really looked like he would kick on and become a balon dor level player under Van Gaal
