Finished 10th. Horrible winter form but good end to the season helped a solid first year in the prem. I feel disgusting but I’ve raided a relegated Norwich for three players because nobody else wants to join me and they’re quite decent for this level.

Has anyone managed to ever get the development list to work? When I add settings to it and then add players to the list, the settings aren't used and my DoF just does what he wants anyway.

Yeah having the same problem, I only get the loans that I want when I offer the players out for loan manually but the Loan Manager completely ignores any settings I make on the development list and just accepts every loan coming in.

Yeah having the same problem, I only get the loans that I want when I offer the players out for loan manually but the Loan Manager completely ignores any settings I make on the development list and just accepts every loan coming in.

I usually do it manually too but just wanted to see if I could make it a bit easier. You can add settings that cater to facilities and starting time so thought it would help. Pretty shite that it doesn't.

The stupid thing is I'm almost 100% it used to work in FM22, so they broke it in FM23.

Just started a save with Dortmund, I want to make it an u19 save, where I only buy players that can still become home grown. Feck me is their squad injury prone, I'm not even through pre-season, you start with 3 first team players injured and I have now doubled that number, within 3 pre-season games. This squad is made out of glass.

Oh yeah I also consider trying a completely stat based save, there are skins that will show you only aproximate indicators of how good certain eras of a players game are but not the exact attributes.

I have to show some self discipline though and not search by attributes or let them show in my squad view, because there they still show up unfortunately.

I seem to get more injuries in the PL than I did in the Champ/League 1. Random training injuries and flu far more common.

Sadly not for me. My form has taken a nose dive. I threw the game against Marseille and beat Liverpool after winning the derby to put me save back to where it was. I then lost to Juve and Sporting twice to have 0 pts from 4 CL games. Useless yeti looking fecker can't do it in the CL (nor can I)

I'm going to try something similar. No attributes at all relying only on scouting reports and anayytical data. Think it's an interesting idea.

Are Ryan Reynolds and the other one nobody knows both on the game?

As in, do they have profiles and attributes when you search their name?

Does seem funny that you can have them as your chairmen, I'm still on FM12 because as previously mentioned I am poor and nobody loves me - so I don't have them

If anyone wants a fairly cheap beast at CB then I would recommend Ashley Phillips at Blackburn. Good enough to be a squad player at a CL club and he consistenly is a rating of 7+ for me and scores 5-10 goals a season. His height and jumping reach dominates most players.

I bought him quite early at Sunderland. Got him farmed out on loan. Probably on the cusp of being good enough now.

Oh awesome, a dark skin, because if there is one thing I really didn't like about that skin I posted above it's that the bright theme, starts hurting my eyes after a while.

@Berbaclass, just found a skin that also changes the attributes in other squad and tactics panel to stars instead of numbers from 1-20. Now I'm curious if I could manage to just get the stars into one of the other skins that show a lot more statistical info, that could be exactly what I was looking for.

Almost broke my PC in rage. Got to the EL final with Forest Green against Benfica. We go 2-0 up and are controlling the game. My DM decides to two foot someone and get sent off (I had ease off setting on). We then go 3-2 down. Big Ashley Phillips scores in the 76th minute and we go to ET and pens and win. I was about to sell Essugo ASAP if we lost from that position.

Started a Brighton save to get me into FM23 (Xbox version)

they have a tiny squad, 13 or 14 alright players, so always only 2 injuries from bedlam. Their board expectations are fairly low too considering you have a few quid to spend - so trying the youth approach.

had a few players reject coming to me, either felt their development was best served where they were or “recently signed a new contract”.

needed another striker so got in Joao Pedro (15mill-ish) from Watford for cheap - 7 or 8 goals already which is sweet and seems a bargain.

wanted cover for Lamptey at RB, landed Joe Scully but as I left the DOF do the contract, he feckin loaned him back there for the season as part of the deal - had to quickly get Guilbert in from Villa on loan.

Baturina from Dinamo in as a prospect and cover for MaCallister. Chipped in with some assists off the bench.

Schjeldrup as a prospect but also straight in to compete on left wing.

Darto Fofana for Right Wing as prospect but also cover for March on right wing.

Not bad so far, lost 3 on the bounce GW4-6 which was a pain. In 6th place after 13 games, but I’ve played a lot of the traditional top 10 (beat them 3-2 on first day of the season) so a tough opening fixture list.

I play out from the back, some of the play by Dunk and Webster/Veltman has fecked me over conceded needless goals. Some of the goals keepers appear to leave in is like underage stuff.

my own aim is to try get into Europe. Board want mid table each year of my contract. Leicester City are top, Arsenal 12th, Newcastle relegation zone everything else in “normal”.

still 16mill left in the kitty. Might look at trying to get a proper ball playing CB prospect in winter window, other than that not much else unless the inevitable bids come in for Caicedo.

FM on Xbox seems a good improvement this year, a lot of quick access controls for controller - quicker to navigate and action leading to quicker games.

Even though I am playing it there aren't enough changes to warrant getting this over FM22. If you're happy with that I'd stick until FM24.

Turned this into a rebuild Romania/nation type save. Cluj came in for me after I won the league. The gulf in quality is enormous and financially Steaua are pretty rank so made it easier for myself. Don't think I will play the save long enough to do it with CSA SB.

Would everyone who played 22 still say not to bother with this years one? Seemed to be the consensus on release anyway. It doesn't look like it changed much.
