Went with these:
Real Madrid double chance (90 mins) + Liverpool Most corners (90 minutes) + at least one shot on target for Salah and Mane = 19/5

Liverpool winning margin 2-4 goals, Benzema at least one shot on target, over 1.5 cards both teams combined = 18/5

Having a bet in the derby?

I’ve bet Nahanni 33/1 25/1 - won the derby trial at Epsom so knows the track and Adam Kirby won race last year.

Stone Age 9/2 - out of Galileo so bred to win Derby plus got form on soft going.

I think I’ll bet Stone Age then, literally don’t know a horse running today

One for tomorrow - Ingra Tor, 4/1 3.40 York - group horse in a handicap seemingly and the trainers very confident it’ll win.

Ascot updates

Coventry fav Noble Style is ruled out and it is unlikely that Homeless songs or Trueshan will run in the Coronation and Gold Cups because of the anticipated good/firm going this week.

Emily Upjohn out of Ribblesdale:mad:

Sorry about that yesterday, hopefully we can get more than a few winners next week to make up for it.

Right Ascot day 1, just my thoughts so don’t let me put you off anything.

2.30 - Baaeed will win this, but Real world 7/1 ew won at the meeting last year and I this should be 2nd.

3.05 - Persian Force 3/1 looks a monster with 2 wins out of 2 and the form has been franked, I was fearful of Noble Style but it’s now a NR

3.40 - kings Lynn/Mooneista 16/12-1 ew I don’t really know much about the Aussie horse could be anything if it wins fair enough, Golden Pal is my lay of meeting, will go too fast and the stiff uphill finish will be his undoing, burst out at York and faded and that was on flat track, so kings lynn who was so unlucky in this last year and Mooneista will be my picks EW.

4.20 - again I think Coroebus should win but has questions to answer - track and bend that why I’m siding will William Haggas’ Maljoom 12/1 his time when he won at Kempton and when his last outing in Germany he missed the break and was couple of length down and still won going away so if don’t want to back short price fav he’s one to consider 3/3 so far.

6.10 - Cleveland 2/1, just the way he won so easily at Chester and hit line hard

Sorry for todays and late tonight , was unlucky with Persian Force and Maljoom, so tomorrow then…..

2.30 - love Reigns 3/1 WW seemingly think this is his best horse he’s had in this division including Acapulco and Lady Aurelia and to win a maiden by 10l must be good, that’ll do for me.

3.05 - Nahanni 9/2, actually backed him for the derby, tbe fireworks lit him up and I think he would’ve finished lot closer, made up lot of ground aswell.

3.40 - Bay Bridge 11/10, think he’ll win the race the Japanese horse won in Dubai wasn’t up to much and only finished neck in front of Yibir who has been beaten twice at odds on since.

5.35 - Little Big Bear 9/4 I just think he’ll win this if he on form level with last run we’ll clear in ratings probably would’ve fancied for the Coventry and this is a weaker race.

9/4 ended up looking good for Little Big Bear.

I was thrilled to have Dark Shift at 10/1 today. Beautiful horse and ran a blinder.

Little big bear pulled me out of a very big hole today but we go again tomorrow, don’t really fancy much being honest but a couple I do are -

5.00 - Wanees 8/1, after he won at sandown, Jim Crowley said this was always the plan and has won on good/firm at Ascot,

6.10 - Montassib 9/2 won both 7f starts impressively good/firm up in weight, I think he’ll win this, Tanmawwy 12/1 ew.

Sorry took the huff at wanees getting beat yesterday, that’s why didn’t put my selections up, did not to bad, had Meditate and Inspiral,

don’t care who wins tomorrow other than Alfred Munnings 2.30 6/4 4/5, also backed Campanelle 4.20 and Hurricane Lane 3.40 4/5.

Queen’s Park home to Forfar -1 5/4 seems a decent bet?

4-1 thought it was a good bet.

How often do you lot bet?

Asking because I always feel really ashamed when I make bets, like I do it too much.

Looking at my history I’ll do usually 2 bets per month, £10 per bet. I know it’s not “addict” levels, but is it excessive?

If you're serious then unless you are struggling to pay for food that is definitely not something to worry about. Though if you feel ashamed I can only assume you're betting on United?

Think It's because I have so many people around me who are anti-betting and if they catch me betting, or I mention it, they get weird.

But yes.. Usually United.

Villa screwed my ‘both score no draw’ with the last action. As soon as the ball went out for a corner I just knew what would happen.
