Embarrassingly bad with the ball.
He’s embarrassingly bad without it too. How often do we have to watch run after players who’ve just ghosted past him?Embarrassingly bad with the ball.
I'm normally that personI predict that at least 1 person is gonna show us stats that tell us that actually he put on a masterclass today.
That’s the thing he gets there most times but hardly ever wins the ball, a lot of the time he actually pulls out of the tackle. Very poor.It may be a cognitive bias, but I felt like he had so many moments where he was actually in the right position to win the ball, tackled an opposition player... and got shook off like a noisy fly without even slowing them down.

Yup - needs a little more strength. Applies the pressure well, then gets bypassed. If Adama does it, it's sort of expected, I won't give him too much shit for that but it seems like anyone that's reasonably strong can hold him off. That’s the thing he gets there most times but hardly ever wins the ball, a lot of the time he actually pulls out of the tackle. That’s a big complimentHe shouldn't and cannot keep on starting for us. He is just too limited
I was being extra politeThat’s a big compliment
It happens naturally, he's suddenly surrounded by players who have more quality than he does so his relative lack of comparable quality stands out more.I'm normally that person
But I'm starting to come round to the fact that he's not very good.
Nope. Not cognitive bias; happened enough to be a point of order. He is where he is supposed to be, but still ineffective in winning the ball. Frustrating. It may be a cognitive bias, but I felt like he had so many moments where he was actually in the right position to win the ball, tackled an opposition player... and got shook off like a noisy fly without even slowing them down.
This, I was mentally comparing to him earlier. Funny thing is that Djemba-Djemba only retired on Friday. How hes played this long is beyond me.I dont, and never will, understand how this lad is playing at this level. He's Eric Djemba-Djemba levels of awfulness. Im in awe for all the wrong reasons.
