Gary Nev, Butt, Scholes and Keane, or Evra, Park, and the twins... I know which group I'd rather spend a day socializing with, at least!Fabio also played very well in the run in 2011 - so much so that he started the CL final? What a player Rafael was. A crazy but skillful RB. Injuries ruined him.
The best RB in the league during RVPs title year. In fact, Rafael, Carrick and Vidic were our only good players all season.
RVP had possibly the best first 6 months of a season in PL history. He dropped off big time and luckily Rooney picked up form at the tail end of that season.
or the fact that they're twins.Could be construed as a bit racist.
Only in a world where you for some inexplicable reason want everything to be.Could be construed as a bit racist.

I remember that game against Arsenal in the FA Cup in which they both started in midfield (I think).Fabio also played very well in the run in 2011 - so much so that he started the CL final?

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-united-sir-alex-ferguson-36926091The Anderson story was funnier to be honest.
When Nani got injured, Sir Alex kept asking him over and over again if he was OK.I heard SAF also told Nani how much he loved his albums, especially Thriller.
I find it bizarre that Sir Alex in his latter years was so tolerant of Anderson.
Fergie said that he mellowed in his later years. This was definitely what was needed to handle a more sensitive generation of players. But yes, keeping Anderson around for as long as he did was an oversight which wouldn't have happened without Fergie's switch to a more mellow man-management style.I find it bizarre that Sir Alex in his latter years was so tolerant of Anderson.
I can imagine the 1995 version of SAF giving him the worst hairdryer he'd ever had in his life, and shipping him off as soon as he could.

It might have fooled the casual observer and referee on the field at the time, but there were enough differences between them that I think most fans could tell who was who. Looking at photos from their time with us I can normally pick them apart (they also acted a bit different with Rafael being more expressive and aggressive). There's no way we would have got away with it and the repercussions would have been huge.I've always wondered. What was stopping us from having Rafael pretend he was Fabio, if Rafael got himself suspended for a game?
