Cracking final that.

Missed opportunity for Sr Brigid's. Glen didn't need to be at their best to win. Conor Glass showed his class towards the end.

Brigids left it behind them. They were 4 points up towards the end of the 1st half also played most of the football yet found themselves level at the break that probably proved as damaging as the 2nd goal that allowed a below par Glen level and go on to win.

Glen were well below their best. 10+ wides tells its own story.
Amazing second half from Glass, he’s up there with Clifford as one of the best in the country.

Having watched Glen in other matches they are side that tend to kick double figures in wides a lot of the time. Shot selection and decision making does be their one weak points. Scored on average 15 coming into final and scored 16 yesterday.

As good as Glass was yesterday it was really poor from Brigids to allow that goal chance to be created out of nothing. Firstly messing around on the sideline, losing possession from the free kick and a goal keeper going walk about and not able to set himself right for the shot.
