I don't believe that.
Nor do I. Carrick, Fletch, Berbatov, Rio, Vidic, Evans, O'Shea, VDS are all over 6 foot. I would imagine about 50 % of our starting eleven for a lot of games are 6 foot+. It's only really Evra and Scholes who are the short arses

We could definitely field quite a big bastard team if you include some of our most promising young players.

--------------Van der Sar------------
O'Shea--Ferdinand--Smalling----J.Evans
---------Pogba---Petrucci-----------
Obertan-------------------------Bebe
--------Macheda---Welbeck----------

Why would you put Pogba and Petrucci in front of Carrick and Fletch, both of whom are two of the tallest at the club...? Carrick especially is deceptively tall, he's huge in the flesh

Scholes is actually much shorter than he appears to be in person.

He must have been wearing heals the few times I've met him.

I think the camera subtracts a few inches.

At least that's what I told the girlfriend when we tried to make that sex tape

Considerably, I also thought Rooney was taller than Giggs

Starting tonight for reserves. Really hoping he can make a push for the first team; his return is in good timing.

not a good performance so far but that describes united's performance so far

lots of pressure without being too creative - 1 long range ronaldo-esque shot from bebe really our only threat

villa 2-0 up

Yeh he's not been great, but as you say, neither has the entire team.

Bebe and Obertan have been our biggest threats withouy either actually producing very much.

I think Obertan was very good. Sure, he was rusty, but his pace was off the chart and his passing game looked really good too.
Remember when Ronaldo suddenly out of nowhere turned up one day and was ridiculously buff? Well, I don't know if it was my TV, but Obertan looked really buff last night.

Glad he's back, I saw one very nice sweeping pass out to Bebe in the vid posted in the Bebe thread, was he playing wide or more central?

Bebe and Obertan both played wide. Even swapped sides at one point :) I think wide suits Obertan best, although I have always (since we bought him) admired his apparent vision. I can't wait until he gets a run in the first team. It has to be this season I feel.

Yeah I see him developing similar to Nani, starting wide but drifting in on occasion as he seems to have an eye for a slide rule pass. Given the unfortunate injury to Valencia I think he will get a good opportunity this season.

I wish he'd get the nod ahead of Park a tad more often. No disrespect to the Korean. But watching Obertan accelerate with the ball is such an adrenaline rush; and he's fast enough and skillful enough that once he beats his fullback he can then pull another defender towards him. And then all that open space.

Yes, but he really hasnt shown he can do much when that happens at this point, hopefully he steps up, he will get a fair amount of chances if he plays well considering Valencia is out for the season.

"very good"? Really? I'd say you're easily please. No one was "very good" last night. Like I said earlier, I think he and Bebe were our biggest threats with their pace but neither really produced anything.
