Garnacho | Officially Chelsea's problem

Using the Tevez chant makes no sense. He didn't exactly leave for financial reasons, and we're hardly a trophy laden team anymore.
5 finals in 5 years, but I get your point, hes a nob like tevez

Fans are fans imo. Some better than others of course. United fans singing songs about Garnacho is just par for the course.
Nah, ours are far better than yours. No harm in it, it's just true.

just banter innit

He must be absolutely livid with Maresca after that. I think he would have caused us problems today too.

Wow, I'm surprised. He has said and done petulant things but he's also a very young kid that was thrusted in the limelight/overplayed by our terrible management. Not that I particular care as I'd understand it for Di Maria or a more seasoned player but Garnacho seems a bit OTT going by how our fans treat managers/players etc in the past.
A very young kid? He's 21 and a father ffs.

He doesn't deserve abuse but let's not pretend that he's anything other than someone with a bad attitude.

Look, don't come here on our forums and claim your fans are the same as ours. Brexit is brexit.

He can be a father and still be a young kid (perhaps 'very' was a bit much)/immature in footballing terms. I'm not trying to absolve him of the things he's done, nor do I care that much; I just thought he'd have a bit more leeway based on the way our fans have done with other players/manager.

The hate he has received seems very forced and way over the top. And that too For what? A manager who himself has shown feck all at this club.

Oh, for sure. There's definitely players who have been worse at the club. They were fortunate that they were here when we were all distracted by success. Fergie seemed to be better at being discrete about these things (except when he was chucking a boot), or the dressing room was a lot stronger back then.

But, hell, people are frustrated and Garnacho hasn't done much to avoid their attention.

I also don't think that being a footballer means he's immune from criticism for being unprofessional and a disturbance. Unless we're saying that footballers are naturally more juvenile than the average person.

For making losing an already very hard to take cup final all about him. But he never could read a room
Yeah he did act like a brat but he had a right to be pissed after how he was dropped in the final. Amorim didn't cover himself in glory. He got the selection wrong and cost us a very important game.

If tomorrow Mainoo badmouths the manager, I won't be surprised.

He’s had issues with more than Amorim. He was liking stuff related to Ten Hag and had issues with other players in the squad, the. Leaking stuff via his brother. Club was fed up of him and were very keen to move him on.

I think he's a dislikeable fella from a supporter POV, but still that chant is way over the top. He done a lot of great things for us, even he turned out to be a bad fit for us.

In contrast to Hannibal, who did his best to ruin the penalty spot before the disallowed pen in the first half, acting like a petulant child all game, yet was rewarded with applause when coming off.

A lot of kids have been sporting #17 Garnacho among our fanbase. Will be hard to tell them that their hero is a money-grabbing wh*ore.

I totally understand, I just think it's bit of a strange or inconsistent standard. The Glazers, the CEO (Woodward) and the players have all had their share of chants and annoyances, why do our managers seem to get the biggest leash? I'm being rhetorical here but yeah.

As for your last sentence, two things 1) I don't think any footballer should be immune from criticism but a younger person might get a bit more understanding 2) I'd not sure if there are stats to quantify 'juvenileness' but it wouldn't surprised me that to compete at the highest levels, there are certain traits and wiring of the brain that would also pertain to certain personalities. That's without mentioning being giving a lot of responsibility and freedom (financial, idolisation, numerous praise etc) that is not at all 'normal' for a person's development. Again, I will repeat that I'm not absolving an individual's choices.

You call Amorim a scumbag but you need to have a look in the mirror. Support your team and the guys who are trying to actually do something for us, rather than this little prick. This guy deserves nothing from United supporters.

Chant is bit unfair as Amorim told him to find a new club, and his exit is not similar to Di Maria or even Tevez.

He won Fa youth cup with us and it ended badly because of his attitude but calling him money grabbing wh*re is not fair. Boos are fine but chant took it bit too far for my liking.

Not defending his attitude but using chants made for rats like Di Maria for an academy product who didnt do anything similar doesn’t sit well with me

Yeah he never did anything. Our fans’ dislike towards him is totally not called for.

Wonder what he’s yapping on about?

"Yo amad, did you see the new gas station? I love gas stations I really do
Yo amad, remember when I posted my tears on paper on instagram? people loved it you should do it too, its an art-work
Yo amad, they didn't play me did you notice how Chelsea manager looked like Ten Hag? I think he's him and he hates me"

Young kid is someone like Jamie from Michael Owen's volley tutorial video. Garnacho is an adult.

Are we supposed to hate Garnacho? He's a player we wanted to get rid of (fully agree with that) and has always been a petulant chap with an overinflated ego of himself. But beyond that, I can’t see the need to make him out to be a villain. Fans taking the piss is normal too, especially when outgoing players behave in a strange manner.

Some very sensitive souls in here, wild how much football has changed, for the worse too. Who gives af about a little banter from the fans to Garnacho, he’s a grown adult he’s heard it all before.

Maybe he didn’t leave for money but apparently he was a nightmare behind the scenes for multiple managers, and was doing all sorts of shit.. he played around with us in the summer by only wanting Chelsea, because lets be honest his ego wants him to play against us and “show us” we were wrong, thats one of the big reasons he’s joined them despite the fact its obvious he’ll get less game time than he had here

Save your energy for the team and the squad that needs support not a damn Chelsea player

Or he's settled in England with a young family and as a result prefers London to Munich. United isn't the center of the universe, y'know?

The second he brought IShowSpeed to the FA Cup celebrations, I'd have binned him there and then.

Wonder what he’s yapping on about?

Garnacho: Hey man I hate it here, *points* the manager looks like the love child of EtH and Arteta and it's not pretty
Amad: Damn man, sucks
Garnacho: Put in a good word to Ruben for me? I'd love to come back
Amad: Naww dude can't do that *starts walking away*
Garnacho: *pulls him back* C'mon man, I'll give you my PS5
Amad: Nah dude, throw in the OLED TV at least *tries to walk away again*
Garnacho: Alright alright you can have the TV... and 5 years of PS Plus
Amad: Shieeet I'll see what I can do *starts walking away and Bruno intervenes*

No sympathy from me. His move to Chelsea was engineered as far back as January (and probably even sooner).

Don’t think he deserves any good will from us.
