Gary Neville - Pundit

Urgh. So fecking precious.
You're dying to be political on the football forum
You don't even know who i am or what i believe but i bet you have some kind of picture in your mind.
How about...everyone, of all colours should get a fair shake?

Thought it was a way of putting down old, white blokes.
Should keep all your politics in the generals, where nobody will read it.
If you take that view to its logical conclusion, the clip of Neville being abused shouldn't be in this thread as the abuse was clearly about his political beliefs rather than his football views.

Maybe it shouldn't be.
That guy shouldn't have done that, it won't achieve anything.

Remember when this clown used to say ‘absolutely’ in almost every other sentence. Someone deffo worded him up about it. Imaging playing a drinking game with Yonner Gaz and his ‘absolutelys’.

Whoever has done this is a grade A bellend and wants locking up.

What you think people should be locked up for calling a landlord a wanker?

At the end of the day he shills for that grifter Steven Bartlett and his dairy industry by-product Huel. The same Steven Bartlett who was begging (grifting) for investment with that James Watt. The same James Watt who did a rug pull recently with the hundreds of thousands of pounds people had invested in Brew Dog.

Just getting word from Gary Absolutely right now, and I’ve asked him: ‘Gary mate do you think it’s fair to call someone pretending to be a working class bloke whilst sitting on a property portfolio worth millions and collaborating with known grifters for ad revenue that you don’t need?’
Absolutely

You can't go round abusing people in the street, it's not normal civilised behaviour.

On the other hand, anyone who thinks Gary is working class is in cloud cuckoo land, he he's a millionaire, he's not working class. I'm not sure he even claimed to be working class. That doesn't make it right for him to be abused in public while having a walk with his wife. How would you like it?

I think we need to start making the rich, the exploiters of the working class, as uncomfortable as possible when we see them.

Ah yes, you've absolutely nailed it, the guy call Neville a wanker is clearly raising concerns about his business dealings as he's probably carried out in depth research and wants to get his views across to Gary.

It's of course nothing to do with the fact he is a flag shagging cnut who wasn't happy Neville called out the flag shagging cnuts and now has just gone and proved his point.

Class is an interesting concept, if someone has been rought up working class at what point do they no longer qualify as the class they were raised as?

When do you praise working class people for working their way out and up the ladder so to speak? Or do you want to hold all poor and working class people where they are?

Not everyone who is rich exploits the working class. No one has the right to outright abuse someone in the street. If you have misgivings about their views there are ways to express it.

It depends on what we're talking about. I think growing up you develop a culture that sticks with you even if you become rich or poor, but you are no longer working class if you are in the top bracket of earners, it's just a fact of life.

Hopefully people are being given enough rope to hang themselves in this thread. You could have your baseline knowledge debates somewhere else, it's honestly as intellectual as watching monkeys fling shit at each other in the zoo. Funny for a few seconds as you sort of marvel how they are so human-like but not quite, but then it gets boring as you realize they are in fact just animals throwing feces.

You'd have to be quite thin-skinned. Which is rare in most gammons to be fair.
It's still an unpleasant term. As was the behaviour of the chap that "confronted" Neville.

I do happen to agree that Neville is a wanker, albeit for probably different reasons, but neither the behaviour of the fellow in the video or the term "gammon" should be acceptable.

Not to take the thread off-topic, but I imagine that most on here believe Neville to be a wanker, or something equivalent, but also that most wouldn't start shouting expletives his way if they saw him in the street.

I think a lot of folk would be better served just keeping their gobs shut, that's a lesson that both Neville and the angry fellow should both learn.
